Good Morning AF August Friends,

Gorgeous weather here and my sister-in-law is coming in a little while to go to the Parade of Homes.

A Sunday hangover free is a perfect day.....emotional-climate wise....even if the weather outside is not cooperating.

Lots to do before she gets here so I hope everyone has a relaxing AF day.

Hey Lav I followed both of your links. Don't beat yourself up is great advice and that one was a good read. The pork recipe sounds fantastic! I can't wait to try that one. I just made a smoked brisket in the crock pot a couple days ago that was a hit around here.

Rusty, an unhung Sunday is always a blessing. I like your suggestion of setting up a regular Saturday out. I think I'll talk to the neighbor girl about that. Did you enjoy the parade of homes?

Star, I had plans of getting involved in new activities upon my retirement. Boy, that hasn't worked out the way I had hoped.:H I think it's a good plan for you and I hope you find things you enjoy. It's easier said than done sometimes, at least for me. It's hard to locate groups and and activities I enjoy that are within a reasonalble drive. I have thought about joining the Y and taking various exercise classes. But all that will have to wait now, at least for a while.

Afternoon everyone

Weather is perfect sitting the sun and enjoying it .....lapping it up it 's so good

Rusty I did drive my golden Holden ute up here ( 6hr drive from home )

Dill the ocean might cause a bit of problem with visiting

Lav I only use Facebook for keeping up with the family and kids and close friends and do like some of the receipe sites and also gardening tricks people come up with

Off to the other son's to-night and catch up with the new baby again

This is week 5 of extreme granddaughter watching :H
All I have to do is get thru this week & my daughter will finish her class next week. This has been an experience & a half :H

Dill, I 'liked' Rick Hanson on Facebook a while ago. It's nice to see his writings pop right onto my page. The whole idea of not beating ourselves up is simple & basic but vital. Goes along with our concept of self care
