Spring September - Week 4

Good Morning!

Happy AF Monday, this last day of Spring September. I am in the Twin Cities and have to dash for a long drive to my client's site. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend, decorating my condo for Fall/Halloween, and spent the afternoon yesterday with my friend and her two wild little boys, 5 and 7. We survived.:H

Does anyone like the name Operation Onward October AF...or parts thereof?:H

Lav, thanks for keeping up moving Onward AF. I kind of like Onward October but I'm not picky! Hope the dinner last night was fun.

The weekend was beautiful weatherwise & busy otherwise!

Glad you had a taste of the wild child yesterday Rusty :H
My youngest grandson Will refused to eat dinner yesterday so I refused to give him a cupcake for desert - that did not go over well
Having experience with this stuff is very helpful. I can turn a deaf ear to all the protesting with absolutely no guilty feelings :H

Rusty, I like Onward October AF too. It sounds so positive and hopeful.

Lav, I too want to thank you for keeping the home fires burning. I try to write every day, but occasionally my virtual world gets in the way! I am glad our little thread is still going. I'm also grateful for the returning members like Paguy and now Cyn.

Hey Cyn, great to have you back. You must really have been busy with your work....I can't help but wonder if you've forgotten to practice at setting boundaries?

Star, I don't think it'll make much difference if the gov't shuts down. Military will still get paid, Soc. Sec. checks and Medicaide will still be paid.... maybe some parks will close, but that's not a big deal and it will be temporary. Who knows, maybe we'd be better off?:H

Paguy, I sometimes read around on the other forums too. I can still remember my absolute fear at the start. Change of any kind is hard.

Old Timer's Day festival was fun. Love those old farm machines! It's amazing how far we have come.
