Just flew home and very tired. Thought I would say hi before I turn the lights out.
I have invited Patrice to re-join us - she has returned to MWO.

Nite nite - all is well here. Survived sharing a room with a mini bar, free drinks at the hotel, a boozy dinner party and a cocktail party. Worst thing I did was eat crap food and read crap magazines.

Patrice, I had to google Aotearoan :H Thanks, a new word in my English vocabulary.

Day 31 here. Got some baking planned and I suppose I should clean the homestead, too. So, domestic goddess it is today.

Sunni I didn't realise Aotearoan was a word either, I just made it up because I'm from NZ myself!!

I wish I could teleport some of this oppressive Asian heat to you guys freezing there... something temperate would be great wouldn't it.

Sunni congrats on your 31 days!! That's fab! I'm back on day 1 after a year of 'moderating'.. I feel good not to have to try to moderate again. It was too much in the end.

Hey all - whizzing back after weekend away,still AF, day 6 coming to a close.
Visited old uni friends - has been very difficult with one of them,I feel criticised,she bites my head off constantly,rants about things I am interested in/jobs I have done and I feel is trying to get arise out of me and I am being sidelined by her when I visit - have tried to talk to her several times and she has refused.It's school girl bullying and I've had enough.

Sadly I think it may be the end of the road of a 20 year friendship.Still AF - that's the main thing.

spent a nice chilly day outside, I like it like this long as the sun's out. Wood stove is cooking away and I'm getting good and warm.

Still AF today after the Grey Cup party. Saskatchewan won so that was good. (Some of you may have to google that!)
Welcome Patrice, I find moderating too difficult myself also. I was thinking that today at the party, it's way easier to drink Perrier and pig out than worry about how many glassss of wine I've had.
Bear, I think it's time to weed your garden. No need for 'friends' that treat you like that. Keep your positive ones and get rid of those weeds!

Well, I got through the weekend AF. I find it gets harder the longer I don't have a drink. But, one day at a time. I will wake up with no hang over tomorrow.
