Ladies on a Mission, week 2

OK! Now it's time to go get my tattoo colored in. Going with niece, aunt, and sis. I got this tattoo roughly 12 years ago. It's an apple for education. It has faded, so they're all getting something new and I'm just gonna get the color back into mine. Although I'd love to get a book worm to add to it, but don't know whether I'm feeling that adventurous.

Congrats to you Narily, on 30!!! Woop, Woop!

Patrice, I loved what NS said. Look at all the AF time racked up! And we're here to help with the mental stuff! I'm full of mental shit!

NS, how great is that? Spinning is a great workout, and now you're really feeling the good effects of exercising.

Humblerider, day 27! Woop, Woop for you too!!!! That's fantastic. I agree with the AA thing. I was also made to feel that way. Stationary Bike...is waiting! It's not just an art piece anymore!

Scottish Lass, have a good time at your event!

Narilly, have a great busy afternoon. But we do deserve to sleep in at times...just waking up like in NS's pic I'd prefer instead of waking up knowing I'd missed yet another game. Aint happening!

To all the Ladies on a Mission, Keep on Jigglin!

Morning all. Thanks for the hypnosis link Humble. Downloading it now.

Day 1 for me and feeling positive this time around. Heres to beating the 40+ days I achieved last time. Not looking forward to the withdrawals but am looking forward to feeling AF free, such a great feeling.

The weather is finally getting warmer which means i can get off my butt and start walking or use the ab-circle pro that is stashed somewhere safe so it is not overused.

Congrats on all the big numbers, i will start to remember names when the fog lifts.

To add to my last post,

Freefly, hope your belly is better! Are you maybe PMS? I know when I am, I get really bloated. But good work on the Hula Hoop Fitness and Yoga!!!!!!

Hi Available! Congrats on starting back. YOU CAN get to the numbers you were at before. Don't discount any AF time you had before.

Running - Congrats on a consistent workout schedule. OK. I need that!

        Off to get my tat!!!

          Evening ladies

Narilly ? way to go on your party and rewriting history, great job. And, super congrats on 30 days, woohoo! Your posts sound perky and positive and good to hear.
SL ? a wise decision ordering that bed. You?re sooo gonna love it, you just don?t know!
Patrice ? glad to see you straight back on the horse. I wish I?d kept a log of all my AF days ? it would be quite an eye opener. You?re absolutely right, focus on all those sober days you have ? no room for beat up then.
Humble ? 27 days ? well done girlfriend and thanks for the heads up about the bloating. It does make sense that the body needs time to adjust ? just being a little impatient this end.
          J-Vo
? so many leading the way for me and with some big, but feeling achievable, numbers. Great job on your 40 days. Good luck with the tattoo ? hope it doesn?t hurt too much!
          RFL
? think we?re on the same days. Hope you?re feeling pretty good with one week down.
          Available
? nice to see you again. Well done on day 1. We keep on trying don?t we. We can crack this thing I'm sure.
          NoSugar
? I enjoy reading your posts and am holding another visualisation now ? the time when whether to drink or not is just not an issue and doesn?t enter my thoughts every single day. That would be very nice.
Having a very quiet weekend and enjoying being sober and peaceful.
Hi and hugs to anyone else dropping by

Thank you Free Fly. My posts may be perky but some parts of my bod sure aren't! lol Its that age thing.
Yes, SL, I can hardly wait for you to get that bed. It's like I am going to sleep in it! My bed is so comfy I feel blessed everytime I get into it. It is so good to go to bed sober and really enjoy it!
Patrice, day by day right? You can kick this thing.
Humble, J-Vo, NS, RFL, FF, Available, it is so nice to read your posts. What interesting women we all are. We have so much to offer each other and much support to give.

I would like to post once every night before I go to bed and list 3 things I am grateful for. They may be the same everyday or not. It is just a way to remember how lucky we all are...I will start this tonight. Should I do this as a new thread? I have to think about that...let me know what you guys think ok?
            Talk soon babes,

Greetings Missionaries! No wait... that ain't right :H

Saturday evening, and I'm working. Sigh.
Well, at least I'm not into the sauce. Small blessings

Available... good on ya for dusting yerself off and starting over! Stick around for support, seek local support... whatever helps.

Lassie.. I love that quote. Very true. Thank you.

J-Vo... eeek.. good luck with your tat. *shudder* Not the thing for needle phobes like me!

FreeFly... 'enjoying being sober and peaceful'... doesn't get much better than that! Keep enjoying!

Ok.. just wanted to poke in and say 'Hi'.. I didn't fall off the face of the earth.. just off the face of modern technology. If the recent power outages are an indication of the winter ahead of us... oh boy.

Anywho... hello to all and have a great rest of the weekend!

I love the idea of a thread where we post our 3 gratefuls before bed.

Hi Available - I think I remember bumping into you before. I do think this site is great as we can come and go as needed...so, great you came back as needed! You have done this before so you know you can do it again.
Craft fair was not nearly as good as previous years - such a shame, but saved my money - girls got some little jewelry gifts for their friends. The weather was wonderful though, and the scenery pretty - so got us out in fresh air which I always love.
Remebered to pick up some eggs on way home, and did have a lot of mind battle about getting a bottle while I was there, but I have managed not to - phew!!!
Just got a call to confirm bed delivery tomorrow - yippee!!! (do hope teh anticipation is not better than the reality - y'all knows how that goes don't ya ladies:H)
Saturday evening with pizza (trying to ignore the fridge buldging with leftover turkey) - see you tomorrow!

We're missing some team members that we need for our mission! Acadia, Star, Kailey, Running4Life, SoberSoul ... Are you still off enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday? I hope it has been a good, AF one for all of you. But if it hasn't, please come back - sometimes missions need adjustments and there are people here to brainstorm with you to help you figure out what you need to change. Anyone else want to join us?

Tomorrow is December 1 - we can all finish off this year in style and be ahead of the resolution game when the new year begins.

Welcome Dottie Belle. Yes, you are welcome anytime. December 1st tomorrow. Its going to be a big month for us all.

3 things I am grateful for tonight:
                              1. being AF, and being AF for 30 days. Even tonight my mind was telling me to go ahead and have just one glass. You know what stopped me? I thought of you gals! I thought, there is no way I want to post that I had a drink after 30 days.
                              2. Having good health, me and my family.
                              3. living in a country where I can have a good job, opportunity and where my family is safe

                              Goodnight all you wonderful women!

                              Grateful to be SOBER!!

This beautiful Sunday morning I'm grateful for :
