Hi everyone - pressies were few and far between - just my Mum and Dad! So treated myself to a massage and an orchid today:H
Massage is new for me, but sort of thing i am looking into to self care and heal. It wasn't as bad as I expected - though she did say I needed a lot of work:H Managed to start to loose some wieght, Had my yearly with my doc, and got a clean bill of health - just looked into a yoga studio (another new things) - you gals have me thinking all sorts of different ways to live!
Little nervous about tomorrow - same as some of the things those I am following have said - what happens next? A year is way too far away...and as you all know those voices seem happy to tell me that I am now cured and can go back to social drinking - I totally know it is not true, but the mind games are a struggle.
So good to see everyone and thanks for the good wishes - I do believe that yesterday was probably my frst sober birthday in probably 34 years

Good for you, SL, and happy belated birthday. You're giving yourself the best gift of all - an authentic life! Day 100 will be a big deal tomorrow and it will be a lot of fun for you and all of us who care about you. Then you can more quietly but no less truly enjoy day 101, and 102, and on and on until milestones (like presents, as we get older) are few and far between. Enjoy all the attention and fuss - you've earned it!

              Hi, all:

Quiet tonight - hope you are all tucked in safely or out enjoying your sober selves someplace fun.

I stayed home with sick son while DH is out with friends. I am sorry to not be seeing them, but my kid definitely needs me here. It is true that sometimes a night with a sick kid makes me feel better (thanks, NS). Good to be here strong and sober to take care of him.

Off to pick up other son and then to bed.

              xo

Well, it's 11:30pm here and I am really sleepy. My son's grad was really good but I am really tired, so goodnight.

Wow! Quiet here while I was sleeping - very strange!
I left this one till last to check on this morning ready for a wee read - now I have time to check on what I missed in the week.
Never tried yoga Nar, think I may like it - finding somewhere with a schedule to fit will be hard, and somewhere that will allow my phone as I am on call 50% of the time - but think that I will look into it.
Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday and slows down enough to smell the roses. My day is running girls around, but will aim to get a walk in!

So, Ava is at 6 Months and SL at 100 days. I think tomorrow Pav catches up with Ava at 6 months! Super stoked at the successes here! Congratulations to all you pretty Loamers! NS at 19+, LB I know it's over a year, but exactly how much time? Let's follow their lead. I wanna follow the success and have what they have.

Nar, you have another graduate! Congrats dear!

Today is a beautiful day in my neck of the woods. I have a hair appt. at 1 p.m. then really not too much going on. Tomorrow is our baseball banquet. So laundry and other little stuff here and there. Not much to report. This upcoming week is my last week of work. I have four girls staying after on Monday to help me dismantle my classroom. Then we're going to go for pizza. What a great deal!

                          Love you Loamers!!!:h
