Jane, thanks for the article. I will read that tonight. I missed exercise today at lunch because of a meeting so now I am going for a little 'stress relief' and going for a walk. Beautiful 70F/20C degree weather here in our fair city.

Pat just poppin in before work to wish you a huge congratulations on those 7 days. keep them safe and build on them. I am so glad you are back with us again and seemed very determined. Keep posting and posting especially since you will be alone this weekend. I know you can do it.

NS lol that is funny, ME giving an exercise class, yeah right, but keep on participating, maybe my sandra is coming out of her shell i i am going to have to watch out! I think about exercising ok.

Liam said to me the other day that i had gained weight and i thought "here we go, rip me off" and then he said i looked healthy and it suited me as before i looked like a junkie (which i was in a way). So really what we think of ourselves is nothing to what others see us. I felt happy about that one as im always wary on the comments my children make to me. If they think i am fat they would have no qualms in telling me so maybe this is how i should be now.

well off to work i go again. Date night on friday night so that should be interesting, first date in awhile and totally sober with no intentions of drinking at all.

It is wierd though how it sneaks into your mind. I was wanting to drink today for a few brief minutes but I quickly shoved those thoughts away.

I am drinking Perrier and eating popcorn now. No booze for this chick!

No Jane i know i will never drink again, it is a total change in mindset for me. No man is ever worth drinking with or over, my drinking days are long gone. If he asks why i dont drink i will honestly tell him i am an alcoholic, i feel more settled in myself now and if he runs away well it is his loss not mine. I think the hard thing for me with this dating is "am i good enough" now i am sober. Its funny as i never thought i was good enough as a drunk but if i was not suited to that person then that was ok as i could just get drunk and no worries. So dealing with maybe rejection will be novel but thats life isnt it, its all a learning curve and i will have a nice time anyways. Not as if i am getting married as someone said! Why do we always worry our heads off and then things turn out just fine

Yes LB i did need to gain weight and when i drank i never ate, its a wonder my body managed to keep alive and sustained with what i put into it. This is as i am sitting here eating a chip sandwich for lunch. i need to tone but hey i am giving NS her exercise classes so i am doing fine.

well back to work i go, they are cutting down a tree outside and damn it is loud, not agreeing with my headache at all.

Well work is done until Monday, and my son has gone away till monad ...all good but had some dangerous thoughts a couple of hours ago.. I ate heaps and now in pjs... Just realised I'm going to have to keep really busy over the next couple of days, maybe not too much sitting around.
