    ARE YOU IN?
    Let's do it!
Humble, Pav, NS, Star, J-Vo, Ava, Dottie, SL, G(man),K9, R4Life, everyone. Let's do it!

Looking forward to an AF New Year!
I'm so in! And excited to share with all of you as we accomplish this. How could I screw this up, with January 1 being 60 days? Impossible, I say. I want the 60 days more than I want a paltry glass of wine.

Speaking of glasses, Ava I'm impressed that you put your special glass away. I used to drink out of coffee mugs even though we had wine glasses in the house. I guess I thought 1) I could better hide it that way, and 2) if I knocked the mug over, it wouldn't break as easily as a wine glass. Oh boy.

Pav, I also worry that I'll wake up and not have the resolve anymore. But as NS said, it is our responsibility, now that we know what we know, to stay sober. That really knocked me between the eyeballs. It is my responsibility, not just something that happens to passive little ole me. It's all in the way one acts and reacts, and with a present and clear mind, that determines sobriety. You'll always be just a few days behind me, our sober days will turn into weeks, months, and years, and your attempt at moderating will only serve to keep us all right where we are today, AF.

I have to work early today, so I'll check in later on. Lclem, Rivergal, hope you're still here.

Have a good AF MAE Loams. Thanks to everyone, I'm going to work headache and shake free, no teeth chattering, for the first time after Christmas in years. :l
Every AF day is a milestone.

Hi, DTD. Good to see you here! You're another shining example of one who is on a mission and "getting it" . I love reading your cheerful, supportive posts in the Nest. They make clear how much you value and enjoy the life you are now living. Hope you hang around here more, too! :l NS

Way to go, J-Vo! I always think of you having more than 30 because your slip was so minor, but there you go. You reached out to me when I first started posting, and invited me to check out the LOAM thread, and I will always be grateful to you for that. Your thoughtful approach to sobriety is helping us all stay the course - here and in what you post in your journal. Thanks for being here!

I look forward to many more celebrations with you on this site, and who knows, maybe someday yelling from a mountain top with our fellow loamers. Speech! Speech!

Thanks for knocking me between the eyeballs. So true. Vigilance and determination, not hope and luck, will keep us sober. Have a great sober work day!

Thank you all for the congrats! And dear Ava, congratulations to you!! So, speech? Never was good at that kinda thing, but here goes...

What a ride it has been with you ladies. I look forward to coming here daily to read and post with you gals (and G-man). Your posts make me reflect deeply, laugh out loud (many times DH asks me "what's so funny?") and believe in myself. I have never felt so strong in my sobriety as I do now, as I've struggled or white knuckled through other attempts. Wow, you girls rock. Really, from the bottom of my heart, Thank you!!!!!:sendinglove:

And yes, Nar, I'm in with you!!! Last night, I looked up Calgary pics. Wanted to see the beautiful city in which you live. And it is a beauty.

That got me to thinkin...hehe. I know. STOP thinking for a few seconds! Well, I've always been interested in geography. I wish I had more time to study different cultures and places. I could sit and look at a freaking globe all day. I like silly things, too, like time zones, such as "What time is it for Ava?" She's enjoying a summer day while it's a cold, winter's night here. It intrigues me. Anyhow, that got me to thinking about making a map for myself of where my MWO friends are. If you will and want to, can you send me a pm of where you're located on this beautiful earth? And I know I'm pushing it. But if you can, send me a pic of yourself through email so I can cut and paste your beautiful face to your location. You don't have to. I hope you don't think I'm being weird or anything. Well, that certainly can be debatable, but it's just something I'd like to have near me. You all mean lots and lots to me. I'm going to look at my profile and list my email address. Thanks bunches LOAMS!
