Hi j-vo, saw you had posted somewhere so had to nip in and say hello!:l
I was waiting to see how you did, getting used to the new MWO was enough for me, without trying to find new friends on a totally new site!
Hi Daisy 45 - funny (or maybe not so funny) story - I responded to a Daisy thinking I was talking to you - but it was version 38!! I did not realise there were many different Daisy's - I am glad it wasn't you
Loamers are looking a little quiet - I hope all is well.....

          Hi ladies,
I am just having some navigation issues with the site. It seems to have some great new things but I am just frustrated.
But I had a great day and I am tired...going to bed and hope for a better tomorrow.

J-Vo! Yes your back! We missed you. I posted foe awhile on another site, I think it was 'Women for sobriety' but I just didn't feel the connection I have here. I think we have a special bond us Gloamers. We are having a lot of success and I think part of the reason is our connection.
So glad you are back. We need each other.
SL Daisy, Rox, Dottie, great to hear from you. So thankful to be sober. Hey, it's going to be 85f/27C tomorrow here, yay! We are enjoying every last day of heat here. It's gonna get cold real soon.

            Goodnight xo
Sweet sober dreams to you beautiful ladies. And men

              Hiya, Everyone:

Great to see you made it, Giraffe, Daisy, and Dot. You all have your old avatars back - I might go try to resurrect mine. I miss the flowers (even though I LOVE mine - I can't remember where I got that picture, but it was early on and I loved thinking of myself as POWERFUL over alcohol, not powerless).

I had a rough week and was feeling antsy after a long day on Friday, and I had to work on Saturday, too. I got some sleep last night, a great hike today, and even got my hair cut when it first started needing it, rather than waiting another three months. Feeling much better.

J-VO- Of course you're welcome here ANY time. I am wondering what you hoped to get from Soberistas that you didn't have here? Maybe we can help? You were talking about amping up your support - could you do both? I'm glad you'll be sharing their resources.

Nar - I know that feeling. I hope you turned it around in your head quickly to GRATITUDE. I always go for the dessert, grateful that I have the calories to give because I haven't been drinking them all night.

LB - I hope you got some good stuff from the toolbox and that your family meeting went well.

NS, Jane and Ava - Are you stuck on an island again? Send a message in a bottle...

Ok, all. Off to bed on a Sunday night with no GSR from the weekend. Lovely.

              xo

I love the no GSR feeling on Sunday night Pav. I watched someone with mountains of it all weekend. Yuckkkk!!
Great to see you J-vo. You have so much to offer us all. I hope we off as much to you?
                  Daisy good morning.
No matter how far you go or how fast you run, you can't get away from yourself. ....said at an AA meeting. It stuck with me.

Haven't been kicked out YET . I read there is going to be another upgrade (thank goodness!), so who knows what the future holds...

Glad you're back in GLoamers, Daisy and J-vo!
I posted a couple links in other threads that I came across again this weekend and remembered how much they both helped me. Since the odds of anyone seeing those posts is pretty low given the navigational challenges and difficulty identifying new posts these days :argh:, I'll post them here, too:

When Ava had the red bars and I didn't, I figured it was a hotness meter or something . Now that I have them, I have NO IDEA what it means... When I "hover" over your bars, it says you are "on a distinguished road". This is WEIRD (and I'm not so sure I want to be famous...).

We are paying ~10 bucks/mo, billed quarterly.

I posted a "normal" sized photo in Molly's thread from a URL using tinypic.com.
Are the really little ones those that people upload directly? Those can be run through tinypic.com, too, and the size adjusted as needed.

My edit/change avatar function is missing so yours probably is, too.

Where did you find the place to change your avatar? I'm tired of my 3/4 beach scene!

love the photo steps. how did you do that?

the pictures ive put up are what i have done before. from google, so sizes are random. the tiny ones are uploads from your pc library.

do you think those bars are from people 'liking' posts of yours?
