NS - hope the tears cleared a lot out for you - we often discuss the powers of a good cry, and hope that it was that way...:hug::hug:
You had been expecting this, so maybe you were somewhat prepared - and F bombs, I can quite believe that that would be a wake up call for those in attendance!

      Thanks G!

Way to go SL, 10 months!!

NS, you must have had to get some pent up feelings off your chest. It's probably good you Got those feelings out now and not at Christmas time. Big hug from me.

        I am so glad I don't drink.

Yes I do drink non alcoholic beer. I CAN drink just one and done. The way I wish I could enjoy regular alcoholic beer. And all told, I probably have two a month. Sorry Ava. I really wasn't even thinking about it when that pic was taken. Everyone who knows me, knows what they are.

So sorry. I was thinking about it. I'm glad I don't drink al ohol. Even in small quantities, poison is still poison.
NS hope your day is good. I'm sorry you had so much stress, for me a good cry helps too. I now have a picture of the f-bomb.

Howdy gloamers! Not much new to report on my end, going to have a quiet Christmas here, no kids coming home this year, but Bubba, Hank, and I will be off to the in-laws for Christmas dinner! Glad to see all the gloamers getting through the season by remembering how important it is to maintain their quit! I haven't seen peppersnow around for a while? If any of you do, give her a

she has her 9 month milestone today! Congrats pepper!

                    Hi loamers(g)

I would be devastated if you drank LB, after all you have been through in the past year. You keep me going through all the shit of everyday life and stress. I know i can do it if you can.

Xmas eve here and im off to visit Robert. We are walking to the cafeteria to have a coffee. I am so excited, it feels like xmas! This is such a big event for us and i am so happy that i get to do this with him. Last week i thought here and today we are having coffee. This is what xmas is about, this is why i am so grateful i am sober.

Cowboy enjoy your xmas, i am having my 4 children here and partners, quiet but thats how we celebrate. I refuse to drive at this time i year, i value my life too much.

Happy 9 months pepper. Due to pop in 3 months!

Hi gloamers. A quick check in with a bit of wifi. Having a blast and have missed beer only after a long hit day and they had cold beers in the lobby and after an anxiety producing encounter. Otherwise I am happy to be present and feeling well all of the time. My kids are a perfect age for travel and I'm so glad we pulled this together.

So happy I checked in on your 10 months, SL! Motivation to keep the course.

LB, apparently there are a lot of us who look up to you - I can't imagine you drinking either.

NS - I am a big fan of a good cry although my eyes get and stay very puffy so it can be annoying. Hope you're feeling better.

Pepper - way to go in 9 months. You're in the home stretch for the big milestone.

I'm off on another adventure. I am so happy to be away from all the hubbub of Christmas! Hope you all have a happy one, and I'll try to check in again before the new year!

                      Xoxo. Miss you all!

Maybe the AF beer is better than the AF wine, which I think is gross. Plus, I'm just wanting to have alcohol and anything that looks like it behind me. I'm aware that prohibition didn't work too well but I sure think we'd all be better off without any of it around. Even people who aren't prone to addiction aren't helped in any meaningful way by consuming a carcinogenic toxin. I'm ,just done.

Thanks for checking in with us, Pav. I'm so glad your trip is going well and that you've made it so the stress you feel about Christmas isn't an issue. What a great adventure for all 4 of you to share and always remember.

If I'm ever really sick, Ava, I hope one of my 3-D friends turns out to be someone like you (or else you'll just have to circle half the globe and join me!).

I had a busy but good day and hope it was the same for all of you. xx- NS

Hi Pav, nice to hear from you. Sounds like you are having a blast.

I am very excited to be getting my hair cut tomorrow. Every Christmas Eve I get my hair cut. It has become a tradition. My 'stylist' is a Deva and likes to dress in women's clothing so it is quit entertaining. I have lots of fun going there. He is freakin hilarious.
I am super busy Christmas Eve and am hosting about 14 people on Christmas Day. It should be good. The best part is Christmas morning, hangin out in our pjs eating fresh cinnamon buns, coffee and chocolate. Yum!

NS, I agree, Ava if I am ever sick I hope I have a friend like you around.

Cowboy enjoy your Christmas with Bubba and Hank.

Everyone, don't drink. Let's get through this Christmas AL free.

Thanks Cowboy and all for the we wishes! I can't believe it's been 9 months, but in some ways it seems like a lifetime ago. I'd write more but am on my stupid phone - one finger typing and SO SLow. Anyway this Af life is the best gift I could ever give myself or my family. My folks fly in tomorrow from FL and are drinkers, haven't spent any holidays with them since I quit. But they will be supportive - both were worried about my health a year ago. I'm 35 pounds lighter, happier. sober and healthy. I'm excited to see them. I hope all have a happy, peaceful week! Hugs to all, and be safe.
