      Good morning, Ladies,

Congrats to Pav, Nar and Ava! So awesome. And I am nipping at your heels, 30 days on Sunday! Can't wait!

Funny how it seems everyone else's numbers are going higher SO QUICKLY, whereas mine seem to be crawling! So strange.

Welcome RG, this is a good place. Have a good morning everyone!

Patrice, I'm glad you came right back. I think it is critical not to let a drinking pattern get re-established. Maybe you need to develop or tweak your plan for how to handle feeling how you did. (e.g. Posting here first, calling a friend, taking a walk or a bath...). Tell yourself you'll do one of those things first and then see how you feel. I bet you'll no longer want to drink :l.

Hey, Ava - where is your post I read each morning? I count on that more than the 3 newspapers that are waiting in my driveway. Did you see there is a new friend here from Aus? Now you and Pat have a new person to chat with when you stay up all night .

Have a great MAE, all. :h NS

            MAE lovely Loamers!!

WHERE are Nar and Pav? I want to congratulate them! Silly time zones - people should be up and about when I'm up and about!:H:H:H

Pat, stay strong, and post before you do something silly! Glad you caught that horse before it got too far and jumped right back up!

LB, I really hope things work out this time. You're such a great example of staying sober despite so many crises and problems caused by others.

Isn't it funny that as soon as you are sober there seems to be so much to do? I have been so busy today and yesterday and getting things done.
I know it is all catch-up on things I have neglected while 'getting through' each day.....so grateful to be sober today.......

That attitude of gratitude is so important, Daisy! Lav is the shining example of that around here.

I have gotten in the habit of noticing little things every day, throughout the day. That means that I'm "thinking about not drinking" quite a bit - but it is in a good way!

Good luck with those neglected tasks :H!

Looking forward to celebrating with you tomorrow, Narilly. I can't believe how slowly this goes and how quickly. I'll prepare a speech for tomorrow, but probably actually not until this weekend as I have more evening stuff the next two days.
Way to go PAV, day 60 for you!! I knew we could do it!

thank you everyone for all your congratulations, it is very nice. Just have to keep it up. 30 days is just the beginning and I have been here before. This time it feels different though and you ladies are a big part of that. I have read so many inspirational things on this thread which have really made me think differently. Thank Goodness for Roberta Jewel and MWO. We are so lucky to have this resource.
I am going to be 50 (yikes!) in April and plan to live the Next 50 sober. Yes, I will live to that age....maybe. Glad to have this second chance.
Love all you beautiful ladies, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Well, its cold here -16, but in Orlando it is +28!!!! Yay, I can't wait to go and NOT drink. It will be awesome. I'm going to have some delicious ice cream drinks for sure.

                      Back to work!

We are getting confused here, Ladies :H !!

Ava is at 62 days today (I think, depends on whether you are using her time or ours ) and Pav hits 60 today and Nar nails 30 today.

But really, any day AF is is wonderful achievement so

                        GO, ALL OF US!!!

Hello Loamers so much better when there are pages to read but i know it will mean i will be late getting ready for work but thats okay as its friday.

NS glad you are feeling fine now, i am on a bit of a debby downer at the moment, not sure why but just going with it. I know al wont solve it and we all have moments. I have not the time to get on my soap box either but i am sure this can be another discussion (if not already since i have 3 pages to read). Today on the news Ian Thorpe (olympic swimmer) has been admitted to hospital with depression and alcohol addiction. Well we all know those two go together like "ying and yang" dont we! They are focusing on his depression not his al problem, makes me mad to say the least, so i may soapbox later about that one. I would just like to tell him to join MWO!

Humble yes its me that loves doc martin but god forbid being married to him but he is kinda cute isnt he. I am downloading series 4 where they get married but of course have watched it all now. Maybe i should watch the whole series again as i am sure i was pissed every episode i watched before.

Hi roller, i have seen you over in the NN so welcome here. I am an Aussie too and gee they love me here (no comment guys). Whereabouts are you in Aus? Day 3 for you today and hope you are doing fine, dont worry about the weekend, it is only another couple of days ending in a Y. When i first stopped the weekend was a killer, not sure why as i drank every day anyways. I will be around if you need to vent.

Daisy i am glad you are on a mission to stop you will never regret it at all and you sound so positive on being af. keep going Daisy. I'm jealous of your motivation going to the gym.

LB hello lovely, glad things have settled down for you.

Nar Nar Nar how are you lovely. Is it your big 30 today? I found that 30 was the ultimate achievement on my way to being sober. You did it, a whole 30 farking days without a drop of poison, you made it through the cravings, the withdrawals, the voices of al. Be proud Nar and now i wait for the speech.

Oh Pav a nice long post, i love it. 60 days, a big hug to you from Aus. Feels good doesnt it to do these days. If you are like me it seems surreal to achieve this amount of time but bloody good. I cant wait for your speech. You are doing so well and keep me on the straight and narrow in this journey with your wit and wisdom. Love you Pav xxxx. I do appreciate your quick checkins. Short and sweet and few words say so much dont they! My boss is a dick that is all i will say and yes my patients love me like i love them. I think he wants a secretary that is extremely professional and quiet. Yes he employed the wrong person with that one. I am professional but well suprisingly enough i do manage to talk a bit.

God i have to go and get ready so i ill continue this when i get to work. Still two pages to go, that will teach me for not posting last night but i did not feel well. Do not think i have not forgotten anyone as i will be back. xxxx
