    That goal was great!
    Sleeping better but only because the night before took a Xanax and last night half.. They are low strength 0.5 so I think that's ok for a night or two. Tomorrow I can sleep in so not worried..
    Yes mate, feeling quite good.. Had some ugly moments this week where for no reason flew in a red rage...and horrendous headaches that only come on at night 7.30 to be precise !!
    You sound good too! Will we see you with some clubs ready for tee off soon?

      I just watched a film '28 days' with Sandra Bullock......she is an alcoholic in denial who comes to understand she has a problem....comedy involved but I could relate - even got tearful watching it.....for what I done in the past - that is something that really hits home when the fog of alcohol begins to clear.....I think for many, including me, it was/is one of the reasons we continue.....not wanting to face up!
      Hope the sleep gets better Pat - are you getting any exercise? I find it helps, although it is past 3am and here I am.....better than drinking though!
      Jane, there is always so much to learn....I'm finding that out....you sound in better form....glad to see it...
      Ava, when you asked about sleeping I couldn't help but think there was a double meaning there after your comment about sleep/sex - was getting jealous - is everybody getting a bit except me?!

        Hey Daisy believe me its been awhile. hell had not quite frozen over but pretty close before i got some. now its on tap, im quite enjoying it and its much better sober.

            lol i was getting to that stage but being sober i actually have something called "taste" and he is a non drinker, win win win. You will lose those cobwebs one day

              MAE Ladies,
              It's almost 11 p.m. here in NE USA! Didn't do much tonight. Did go for a bike ride around my very hilly neighborhood. I had to take the bike for a walk a few times.

              NS, thanks for the info on sugar. It does make lots of sense to me. I'm going to take all of that into consideration. I never knew it went as far as causing diseases that al causes, but that's probably also with other factors involved such as obesity. Sugar, caffeine, and alcohol are accepted and legal drugs in our society. There's too much money being made on all of those drugs so I don't foresee it changing in the near future. But smoking has come a long way, so maybe those will follow suit.

              SL, I'm glad you posted. Please don't worry if you only post here and there. It's great to hear from you anytime. It is hard to keep up with these chatterboxes! Several women and G-man post once in awhile and that's cool. We love you, so post when you want and have time.

              Daisy, I saw 28 days a while back - If it's the movie I"m thinking about. Love Sandra Bullock. One of my favorite actresses. There's one wit Meg Ryan that was good, too. Can't remember the name of that one.

                SL so glad you posted! No worries about catching up, I know this thread is busy. Just drop in and say hi

                Pat, wow, that would be confusing for your son! How interesting though. I would love to visit Malayasia, Australia, NZ, and France. One of these days maybe.

                J-Vo, so good that you are doing different things like yoga and biking. I have changed what I do also and I find that I am socializing way less. That is ok because I just want to stay out of AL situations if possible. Tomorrow, I may go for a bike ride if it's not raining. It rained all day today here which was good because we needed it.

                It's Friday night and I Always used to drink on Friday, ever since I was a teenager But No More! It is so good to be sober and to be able to wake up early on Saturday to enjoy the day. Say NO to hangovers!

                Ava, it's 'on tap', ha ha! I love that! Daisy, it will happen soon don't worry, I am sure a sexy gal like you will be gettin' some soon. That movie sounds good, I love Sandra Bullock.

                  I don't have a lot of internet connection here. So a quick post.
                  I am at the beach, full moon shining on the water, beautiful. Boy I needed a break.
                  No matter how far you go or how fast you run, you can't get away from yourself. ....said at an AA meeting. It stuck with me.

                        Hey,

                        Looks like no one wants to wade through the spam on MWO to post .

                        What a mess! I sure hope it gets resolved soon. It makes it not fun to even be on the site and it is especially bad when you think there are people in critical situations who truly need some support. It would be one thing if this were just FB or something like that, but it isn't.

                        Hope you're all having good, relaxing, and of course, AF, days .

                                Hi TT, yes I was going to drop into the daily thread.. Was just kinda waiting until I was firmly on the path
                                My son is fine thanks, we have a big long hols coming up, haven't planned anything but will go maybe to Thailand.. Must be getting cold there!
