Hey LC and Loamers everywhere,

LC, nice to see you too. In Oz we have community financial counsellors (as opposed to financial advisers which is more to do with investment) who are usually found in local community centres and they are free (govt funded). You probably have such a free service in your community somewhere? e.g. if in debt and getting harassed by phone/mail etc. a financial counsellor can be a buffer and help negotiate a realistic affordable payment plan, maybe waive some fees, or just give you all the options.

Nar - funny you should say that, I am like a new non smoker and feel so heightened - I was trying to get an anniversary card for my parents, and they were all drinking ones - then every other joke, every TV show, all the books I read - it is everywhere, and people find it funny! I have to believe that we are the tip of the iceberg here and there have to be so very many people feeling the same way as we do...really sensitive over here in N Cal

Just sat down to post but DH came home and we're on our way out to hear some music. I have inertia about going out these days - I am lazy to get up out of my chair but almost always happy when I do. DH bought these tix about 6 months ago and he's very excited, so I'll join in on the excitement.

Well a few minutes to spare as i want to kill my co-worker. ffs how can he get away with being so rude to people is beyond me. he tried to have a dig at me and i just ignored him. I know he has Aspergers, but please take your pills. I manage to take mine!

Hey Chero, lovely to see you here girl. Im really proud of your progress on MWO. Did you end up killing hubs or is he alive to live another day. Luckily you all celebrate the 4th of July once per year. Our biggie is Australia Day in January. Lets get blind drunk and enjoy the day off work, woo hoo. I am glad i am not like that.

Definitely going for a walk at lunch time, it is beautiful outside and Mr G you could have worn your toupe with no problems at all.

Checking in before bed. Day 3 done and dusted! I'm pleased with myself because I feel the momentum building. Work is stressful this week so I have to be on guard as far as using that as an excuse to drink when I get home, but tonight it was no problem. In some ways I am thankful for my many quits because I have learned so much from each one. Bottom line, I no longer find the happiness in a bottle of wine that used to be waiting there for me. There are so many negatives, and very few positives anymore...maybe just the first glass? Not worth trading my life for.

Yeah Kailey that's what happened with me. It just wasn't fun any longer.
NS I love the not being able to go back to being a cucumber. Hubby and I both had a good laugh.
G-man I watched a television program for yoga and just copied some of the moves. Threw in a few extra stretches for my poor overworked back. And that's easy and convenient to do as I watch a little telly in the evenings.
Narilly one day I was acting a little weird ( that's saying something for me) and hubby looked at me and ask "are you drinking?" I just looked dumbfounded for a few seconds and laughed. Yes, yes I am, can't you tell? We both laughed. It was such a relief for it not being true.
Have a good Farquad free day tomorrow Ava.

Just getting into my clean bed - bliss!
Had a funny realization - some of you may remember that one if my Christmas presents was a 6month subscription to a wine of the month club - 2 bottles a month. I have 10 bottles in the garage that do not bother me at all (AMAZING), but just realized they have tried to deliver the last two and I have about 6 voicemails that I keep forgetting to call back......this would never happened a year ago!!!
Well done Kailey - it really does come, there is so much proof here!

I did lots of learning today. I got my PiYo DVD's from Beachbody.com and it's a mix of Pilates and Yoga. I practiced poses today. Then I started reading some info. NS passed on to me for a new diet that hopefully will turn into a long-term forever diet, kinda like the long-term no alkie thing. Ok, tired and gonna hit the sack...no clean sheets
