I asked my wife to buy me some cod today but she came back with some sort of fish that cost half the price.

    Fecking cheapskate.

You know you have OCD when you watch a sexy, bikini car wash. The girls are sticking their tight butts in the air, splashing each other with water and occasionally making out.

And there I am thinking "she really needs to have another go on that wheel arch"

I recently opened a shop called 'Shit Creek Paddles' and I've been making loads of money.

    Everybody seems to need one.

I was chatting up a beautiful Texan girl in a bar:

"You know," I said. "I saw a lot of desperate people when I worked on death row."

"Oh wow," she said, getting hot. "Were you the executioner?"

    "No," I said. "Toilet attendant."

      Good morning Abbers,

Up to a 5:30 am alarm clock this morning so I can get out of here by 7 am to go watch kids. Too much like work for me :H
I ended up, quite unexpectedly going to the zoo yesterday with my son, daughter & grandkids yesterday. It was such a nice day & everyone was available so why not, right? We had a great afternoon, sure beats sitting around with a hangover :H

bear, have a good day & I hope you continue to heal.

Mick, good luck with the car repairs!
I still have lots of plants hanging out in the garage staying away from the frosty nights that keep popping up. Loved your pics from yesterday

Have a great AF Hump day everyone! I'll check inlater.

        how do all
a beautiful spring day here. Last night I got a call from a neighbor who caught a swarm of bees for me. I picked them up last night and situated it this morning. Looks like a strong swarm. Peeked in my other hives this AM. They look like they're bustling about. Poplar trees will be blooming soon! I need to get busy and build some more hives!

off to work, enjoy your day everybody

          Quick check in from work.
Had a tough evening yesterday - but thoughts of AL (of course I had some) were in the past this would have been an excuse to drink - I didn't want to - that is a huge relief!
Just got to get thru teenage years, with raging hormones, and failing grades - not a good combination! and it was a really bad one last night!
Apart from that - hanging in just fine.
Sam - I want to send in an order for eggs, mushrooms and honey - three of my fav things! (Lav = happy for your eggs too, but thought if I put in a bulk order shipping might be free:H)

Hi guys from sunny hawaii. So far the trip is going very badly. Relaxing it is not. One little crisis after another. We are in Waikiki and it's too urban and built up for our sensitivities. Just not our scene. Went to Pearl Harbor yesterday and it was very tiring. Frustrating day here so far trying to get some of my work done. Mostly waiting on people and buses. Grrrrrr. I'll check people's posts when I can. No AL thoughts -that's the least of my worries

              MAE ALL...

Bear...thanks for the kickstart, whizz on back when you get time. Glad you've got your head on straight about the booze. Keep it up.

Mick...I actually forgot about the phones till about 10am :H Thought it was awfully quiet. Hope the car sorting is not going to cost you too much. Just home for a quick bite to eat (taco's) and back to the office for a meeting. Did you get the rabbits back in the hutch or didn't you know that...

Lav...at least kid watching is much more rewarding. The unexpected trips are the best aren't they.

Sam...that is definitely something I haven't done and have no intention to. Hope you had a good day.

SL...it is a huge relief. I always felt as long as I didn't drink that was ok until I got to the I don't want to drink stage. Never thought I'd get there, it just snuck up on me. :goodjob:

Off to tackle the tacos...be well everyone....PPQP

TT...just saw your post. :l Tomorrow will be a better day. Waiting on people can be very frustrating. Don't know about buses as I won't wait for them. Good to hear there's no AL thoughts, you got enough to deal with.

PPQ - it is a relief, a very pleasant one!
TT - hated the capital too, just another concrete jungle. Can you move to another island???

                  whew! hidy ho ABeroooos!

back from a veeeeeery long day and made it in one piece, AF and all. Lav, glad I'm not the only one up at 5:30 this morn!

Bear, one day at a time dear one. E-cig is huge improvement over burning tobacco. use one myself.

TTops, having been a resident of Oahu for 9 years I concur that Waikiki is a totally cheesy tourist trap. Ick! if you have a rental car I can guide you to some very cool nature places....

Sam, buddy of mine just set up his first hive about 4 days ago....so far so good. fascinating critters.

                  PPQ, love the funny pic!

just made some leftovers and planning on an early night

                  be well

SL, forgot to say kudos on the good fight. every time we successfully fight through a craving it helps to retrain our brains. the more times we do this, the more permanent the change becomes... so I'm welcoming cravings now as an opportunity to heal my brain.
