Yes, thank you so much! I am 62 today. So grateful to be on the right path.

I had a great day! I appreciate just being here.

I had a wonderful day, filled with the people I love. Mr. D made me a special outdoor chair in his wood shop. My son just simply spent time time with with me. the grand kids made a nice brownie cake. I have heard from other family members and friends too. I'm so grateful for it all!

Star-I understand how you are feeling about looking for another job so soon after getting this one and the impending move. All I can say is that everything happens for a reason. You never know what awaits you around the next corner-maybe you'll save some money on a rental or new house and can work part time at something you truly love and pay won't matter as much. Could happen!! I wonder if you are missing the boom box not because of the thing itself but what it represents: change. As long as it stayed in your house, you weren't leaving. I think you will be very pleased with your results and no doubt showing a decluttered and clean house = more $$$$. Just keep your eye on the prize-being a present granny for your new grandchild and seeing your daughter and family regularly.

Dill-what good news about your DIL! Sure hope she has turned a corner. Prayers that she has. You crack me up about the EVOO! I think Rachel Ray coined the term or at least made it popular. I kind of checked out Bubble Hour the other nite-didn't get as far as listening to a podcast tho. So wish I could pop the headphones on at work and listen to it while performing the most mind numbing work there is at the moment.

Lav-downsizing will be a good thing I think, as long as you can fit your embroidery business in it AND keep the hens!! Would you stay in the same town?

It is soooo cold and rainy-has been all day! I've been in the most fowl mood all day-totally counting the minutes until I could leave at 3:30 for my nutrition appointment. My nutritionist gave me the best news-I haven't been eating enough!!! I can have 2 breakfasts, one at 8 and another at 10. My regular lunch and then a mini lunch around 3 or 3:30. Not that my weight loss has slowed at all but eating more might increase the rate!! I've been so hungry lately and 2 people have told me I look pale. I just have to find the funds to stock up on cereal, yogurt and some other things.
I also used a debt calculator last nite and found out that I can have one of my credit cards paid off by next Dec if I apply the funds I've been applying to the vet bill every month plus what the minimum payment has been. I sure hope I can swing this. I'll continue to pay the minimum on my other card and then apply the extra money once the first one is paid off. Maybe in a couple of years I can start paying off my family!! So whereas a few days ago everything looked bleak, now it looks manageable. However, this plan doesn't take into consideration more vet bills and car repair bills so I'm not quite sure what to do.

Speaking of vet bills, my Mickey came up to me and his eye that had surgery on it was shut! It's all red inside. I'm not sure what is going on. I put in some of the rx eye drops I had left over and put the cone back on. I'll give it till the morning and if it isn't better, we'll have to go back in and get it checked out. I guess they can add this one right on to what I owe them. :boohoo:

So I am trying to buck up and see the silver lining in all this. Right now it looks pretty black but maybe the silver will start shining through. some day.

And yes, Chill went through hell and back but never gave up. Lots of sacrifice and change later, she seems to be having the time of her life. It can happen but not if we give up.
