I am happy to announce that all seven blueberry bushes were planted yesterday, some are in flower already, yay!
I unexpectedly ended up with all 3 grandkids & their mothers here yesterday plus YB so we all chipped in some labor to get the job done. The kids filled the water buckets from the garden hose & I carried them - team work

I'm thinking about taking a solo trip to the outlets today. I need a few things to get ready for my mini vacation coming up on the 20th. We shall see!

looked like rain, smelled like rain, sounded like rain, didn't rain. Still does but the forecast is no rain. Mother Nature messin with me again.

Lav, excellent on the BB bushes. We planted some last year, need to deer proof them.

Mick, that was a shorty, you must have been really running late.

Fiddle lesson tomorrow, better start reviewing the past lesson, procrastination at its worst!!

Mick...what'd you do, scare everyone away. They probably thought they were in the wrong place with that wee first post. Turned out I was boss again today but boy was it quiet. After go-go-go I didn't know what to do with myself. Glad you made it to the chiro on time now don't overdo it. At this rate I'm just hoping Summer falls on a Saturday.

Lav...good job on getting the BB bushes in. I am thoroughly jealous. Bit of snow overnight, the real wet kind, so lots of scraping this morning. I don't think this winter is ever going to end.

Sam...I hear you on procrastinating. Hope you got your review in today.

I have been out of pocket for awhile. Tough day today. The daughter of one of the women in my recovery group died in a car accident. She was only 20 years old. I went to the viewing and spoke with the woman for a bit.

She said that out of all her children (she has 5) this daughter was the only one who forgave her for all the hell of drinking.

Sometimes we see death and we think what's the use of all this sober stuff. Today was a resounding reminder...what is the use of all this sober stuff? Everything. It means everything.

ooooh rooooh ABerooooos! and greetings once again from hotel land.

Mick, glad you made your back pummeling, and still got us off on the right foot.

crazy busy day here all over the peninsula doing demos and battling traffic. i just couldn't live here in this traffic..yikes.

SF, there you are. sorry to hear of the news. ending life at 20 is just something very hard to relate to and so sad.

Lav, not to worry, I'll write some legislation that will take care of the global warming/cooling/whatever is going on. it's pretty simple. during the night when plants take oxygen and give off CO2 we transport them by rocket to the moon. then in the morning, when they produce oxygen we transport them back to Earth. also... farting is to be a class A felony. see? simple! LOL ok I confess it's been a long day and I've lost my marbles. hope to get more sleep tonight.

at least i had a MUCH better dinner. went to a place called Pacific Catch in San Mateo and had a wonderful salmon dinner. It certainly pays to do a little research before dining out.

been very careful to listen for the voice of AL so I can intercept it before it gets any headway in my mind...seems to be working. Happily drank my bubbly water and now back in the room getting emails done.
