    Basil cell carcinoma recovery

I wanted to see if anybody has had this surgery and to tell me how great and quick the recovery is?
I had a surgery this morning and am feeling PrEttY miserable.
I am told to stay in bed a couple of days. I look like I have been beat up or had a car accident.

Please offer some positive news? Feeling a little desperate.
But not like drinking, yet. No gym for me for a few days... Not good. Maybe I look into the meditating? Your (miserable) Eli.

Stay strong and stay positive. You'll heal faster and be able to get back to the things that keep you motivated. Sending you white light!

Thanks techie- I know I will feel better in the morning.
Lots of things going on that are rather not positive, which is naturally effecting how I feel.
And none of those negative 'things' can I do much about. Just wait. Time will correct things I believe.
Thanks for your encouragement, I am needing it just now.

Eloise, please do stay close to your support group here. Like Ginger said, you have a lot of friends on the Gloamer's thread and here at MWO in general. I really feel for you-- though I haven't had the same surgery as you, I have had some terrible dermatological problems on my face that have left me looking like a you-know-what at times. Like I'd been the loser in a boxing match--no kidding and with itching to boot. I found the best thing to improve the healing and not to make things worse was to limit stress. Easier said than done, I know-- but the stress really does make it all worse.:l
Were you able to talk to your husband about how you were feeling earlier today?
I hope you find a way to tell him what a turd you thought he was being.

Stay close! Know like you know that drinking never helps us--it always makes us suffer. Makes any terrible situations we have to deal with even worse.

I haven't had this surgery but any kind of surgery is going to be hard on your body. Rest and take care of yourself El. You deserve it.
          Big hugs from me

            Thanks Lifechange and Narilly.
And no, I haven't told him what a turd I think he is.
I have made it very clear that if I am making his life miserable I do not want to be responsible for this.
And as far as my being just like my mother, well that is really one of the most hurtful things he could possibly come up with to say to me. So, congratulations on that one.

Then he came up with how we are supposed to forgive each other. Well, it isn't me who is constantly telling him how imperfect he is. I may be wrong but I do think this is all about him. There is never one mention about how I too am not working, how my life has changed 365% and that I am dealing with it by stopping drinking. Nope. Oh, and did I mention I have learnt DUTCH? And that whenever we social it is always with his buddies? And they are not artists, rest assured. I am a moody Bitch, well maybe sometimes I am. Sorry. Hard to believe we come to this so quickly.
