hiya all..wowee a new hoose!!aint this pawsh!! hw are we all today then?all good..just been having a bimble about the place having a look at the site..brill.well yesterday was a lonnnnnnnnnnnggggg day for me.... raking out the old grouting in the bathroom ..its on of those jobs that seems to go on forever and you miss bits cos you are looking at the lines all the time...2 walls done..all thats left now is the window wall and back to regrouting it all..and resealing the sink ,bath n window frame....meanwhile downstairs........madam doing the gloss painting in the dining room..states "be ok I dont need any dust sheets"really is that why we have now got a brown carpet with white gloss big stain in it???and guess what..it was my fault!!I left a cable plugged in and she knelt on it and then the fun started!!it was a cable..in plain view..white against brown..nor camouflaged not hidden not secretly disguised!! She reckons the mark will come out..me I reckon theres more chance of knitting fog!anyway on we go ..its 6.10 am
tea and coffee at the door ..wipe your feet on the way in!
hiya Lav..glad you found your way in..yep couldnt get on yesterday ..but hey its worth it...looks well posh..here you go..bbt.Still got me itch,seems to be going a bit..got steroid cream for it..you any plans for today?your doing well with your veg...all Ive got left now is chard ,onions,peppers,tomatoes,leeks swede,some seriously munched cabbage some growing cabbage and beetroot ..oh and lettuce and radish..always handy in winter!

What do dancers do in the bathroom?

A farmer walks up to an outhouse and finds a man fishing around in the hole with a long stick. The farmer asks what the man is doing and the man replies, "I dropped my jacket down there and I;m trying to get it back." The farmer says, "Are you crazy? Are you really gonna wear the jacket after it's been down there?" The Man says, "Oh, no way! But there's a sandwich in one of the pockets."

A team of doctors attended the delivery of quintuplets who were able to walk immediately after the ambilical cords were cut. The senior doctor was asked to explain this unusual occurence. "I guess they had a lot of practice." said the doctor. "What do you mean, practice?" asked a junior colleague. "They were just born!" The doctor replied, "Well, it was standing womb only."


A racehorse owner was furious with his jockey after the horse he rode came in dead last. "Could you not have raced any faster?" he raged.
"Sure I could have," replied the jockey, "but you know we are supposed to supposed to stay on the horse."
With his wife sick in bed, a man did the weekly supermarket shopping. By the time he reached the checkout, his cart was overflowing. Behind him in the line was a little old lady with just a loaf of bread and some butter.
He turned to her and said: "Is that all you have dear?"
Her face lit up. "Yes, it is."
"Well," he said, "if I were you I'd have a seat because I'm gonna be a while."

The bartender asks the guy sitting at the bar, "What'll you have?" The guy answers, "A scotch, please." The bartender hands him the drink, and says "That'll be five dollars," to which the guy replies, "What are you talking about? I don't owe you anything for this."

A lawyer, sitting nearby and overhearing the conversation, then says to the bartender, "You know, he's got you there. In the original offer, which constitutes a binding contract upon acceptance, there was no stipulation of remuneration."

The bartender was not impressed, but says to the guy, "Okay, you beat me for a drink. But don't ever let me catch you in here again."

The next day, same guy walks into the bar. Bartender says, "What the heck are you doing in here? I can't believe you've got the audacity to come back!"

The guy says, "What are you talking about? I've never been in this place in my life!" The bartender replies, "I'm very sorry, but this is uncanny. You must have a double."

To which the guy replies, "Thank you. Make it a scotch."


Several women appeared in court, each accusing the others of trouble they were having in the apartment building where they lived.
The judge, with Solomon-like wisdom, decreed, "I'll hear the oldest one first."
The case was dismissed for lack of evidence.

After tucking their three-year-old son in bed one night, his parents heard sobbing coming from his room. Rushing back in, they found him crying hysterically. He managed to tell them that he had swallowed a penny and he was sure he was going to die. No amount of talking helped. His father, in an attempt to calm him down, palmed a penny from his pocket and pretended to pull it from his ear. the little boy was delighted.

In a flash, he snatched it from his father's hand, swallowed it, then cheerfully demanded, "Do it again, Dad!"

whizzing in quickly,I like the new site,just really pleased it's still here.
Hey TT and Mick, good to see you both.

I'm off into shower in a minute,work was ok yesterday. I feel much calmer,not sure why,just had bit of time to plan/sort work out,also I got my results back and I'm absolutely fine so that's a big relief.I've put on weight for second week running at WW, so refocusing on the plan and getting organised - it's actually really easy,no counting just a list of foods you can eat,and other stuff you need to count. I was doing well and I will again.

Had crappy message from one of roller derby team re very petty issues,felt like school girl bitchiness,where it's not the issue being talked about,but the issue is an excuse to have a go at the person.She's a very dominant tricky character,I'm pleased I said sorry she was upset but I didn't think I had anything to say sorry for.Feel much happier now and stronger.

Morning all
Well made it on, tried some yesterday. First log on I poked around and tried to see how it was all arranged, I'm slow like that. Signed off and awhile later tried around 8ish our time and the was under construction. No big thing, I'm sure there will be bugs to iron out. TT, the avatars are mostly missing on my screen except Mick's. Mick you have a half an avatar showing. Now I'm stuck with the age old question is the avatar half empty of half full??

Good morning Abbers & Happy Tuesday

Today is my 2000th AF day - boggles the mind really :H
Just happy to be the imperfect me at this point. Once you kick AL out, everything else seems to fall into place

TT, I'm not seeing most of the avatars either. I saw RJ's note last night that they are aware & working on a solution.

Mick, that wasn't very nice of you to cause a paint spill like that :H
I can be a bit of a slob with paint myself!!!! Hope the itches leave you alone today!

Yep I'm staying well out of it,said I disagreed with her and I'm focusing on enjoying skating/seeing the people I want to see at training.
