Change your status to MWO Poet Laureate, Mick. Now.

TT, Cape Town International Airport has started making its own wine - the wine making will be done at an estate nearish from where I live, the bottling will be done at the airport. Ah well. I won't be queuing up to buy it, rest assured.

    Have a good day, everybody!
14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

      MAE ALL...

Mick...thanks for taking the time to kickstart us this morning. Did get my early night and the sleep fairy stopped in. What a difference it makes when you're able to get some decent sleep. Be safe out there.

DTD...I tend to stick close to this thread so like Mick better late than never....CONGRATS ON 1 YEAR

Greeting to all who stop by today. Have a Wonderful AF Wednesday all and all to come....:happy2:PPQP

SL...thanks. My son was diagnosed with ADHD several years ago. The meds worked for about a year....then made him depressed. We tried different meds....at the time the doc and us decided bad grades were a better option than a sucidial 7 year old. Now he is 13 and the school work is causing so many other problems.

That said.....somethings happened with my mom. Then I was in kind of denial that I had some of what she had. Which now that my head is out of the sand....I see it in my son. I'm getting treated and we are on the road to getting treatment for my son.

          Greetings at Noon Abbers!

Crazy day so far but there is time for improvement!
I had to go watch my younger grandson from 9-11 this morning. My son was on volunteer duty with the local fire dept. visiting schools & talking yo the kids for Fire Prevention month. As I pulled into their driveway I heard their door open & the 3 1/2 year old running across the deck yelling 'HI MIMOM'. I gathered my things, got out of my car & standing there, right in font of me was my pantsless grandson :eek-new:
Needless to say I was not impressed!!!!!! He is insane, that's all I can say.

Hey Mick, liked my bug pic on FB huh?
I hope those huge, ugly creatures consume every stinking stink bug! Hope you have a good day

DTD, sorry I was preoccupied yesterday & missed your 1 year anniversary. CONGRATS ON 1 YEAR AF!!!!!!

SF, I Hope everything works out OK for you & your son. I know how hard it is to deal with the ADHD thing. My son got thru it & he's doing very well now. As you can see, it looks like his son has some issues as well.

SL, glad you are well rested & out there kivking butts!!!!

Greetings to Sam - lots of rain again today, boo hiss!
Are you hiding in your shop again?

Greetings to Det , TT, SL& everyone stopping by today.
Have a great AF Hump day everyone.

Oh Lav I wouldnt worry about a pant-less three and a half year old! But sounds like that was not all it is.
I congratulated you Dream - on the otter thread but didn't get a chance to stop by here yesterday. Well I could read but couldn't write as my hands were so tired. One year is fabulous my dear!
I hope that you SL - and you SF - deal as best you can with your children's disabilities. As I keep saying I deal with young people after they leave school- and there are many many people who do amazing things - and have lived with a range of serious learning issues. But i can also see how truely hard it is for all involved. Both of you (SF and SL) must also look after yourselves in this too. I better dash and get my work hat on - altho I am working at home which is lovely as its sunny - on this Thursday morning.I will intersperse having the washing out (as its a great drying day) with my own work. Daughter is at home today too finishing a painting art assignment (its her portfolio for the whole year). Catch you later folks.

Hi all - done my run training - two 10min runs broken by a 3 min walk - about 2 miles.
SF - yes, my daughter became suicidal too last year, so very hard - and working with the school is so tough. Have her up for tutoring 4 nights a week - will change our lives as i don't get home till about 6pm, so can't get her there - so end of family meal times....
Still struggling with all that is going on - not sleeping well, and feeling pretty exhausted.
Hanging in - but its tough just now - thoughts things were getting straightened out, but back to trying to work it all out....
