Mae everybody,can't believe you already need tires Mickmust be all your mysterious Sunday jaunts haha,is that your christmas cactus hanging in the second pic?i have one that blooms pink flowers it's doing well but looks a little off color cuz i had it outside during the summer and it was under the misters we have and Vegas has such hard water it left a whitish coating on the leaves,plus now i'm scared to bring it inside cuz there's cobwebs in it,don't want no black widows in zee house! Lav,i didn't see your bell pepper pic on fb til yesterday,i honestly pay a dollar for one,so you are lucky,fajitas anyone?Kell didn't get home til 9 last nite and poor Louie was falling asleep in my lap,luckily i had him all changed into p.j's anyways cuz he threw up on my lap and himself earlier,don't think he's sick i think he was gagging on a sticker he found and put in his mouth,i'm telling you if i don't watch him like a hawk forget it,Sam,i'm glad you're o.k,i understand that overly tired feeling,too often unfortunately,PPQP,that is a hefty fine for a 4-way,i never come to a complete stop if nobody is around,guess i better start,i also have a habit of running yellow lights eeks!I'm guessing you didn't use any of Mick's list of things to never say to a cop cuz you aren't locked up haha,well off to fix this mess for work,hello to SL,SF,Det,and anyone else who pops in later,let's have a good Wednesday,btw i can't believe that Pistorious dude got off so lightly,money and fame

Good morning Abbers & happy hump day!

Dark, raining & generally miserable here. We had two big thunder storms overnight that kept me awake until 3:30 am & a bunch of hot flashes as well, LOL

Mick, we get ant invasions in the late spring around here

I freak when I see them on the kitchen countertops, yuck. Good luck getting rid of them. Do you have a product there called Terro Ant Killer? Works great! www.terro.com
I did get to Curves yesterday & going back today - I'm on a roll!

SL, my son still uses the great organizational skills he learned in his tutoring & it really shows. I always feel so proud & grateful that we got him through all that. Your daughter will do well too.

Checking in a little earlier - from the desk at work, so hopefully can get this off before anyone strolls in.
No routine yet, having to work on that - sure it will come. Trying to work out new budget and still do all I was doing - saving, retirement etc - hope to be buying our house in July next year so trying to make it all work - pinching here and there, but still trying to enjoy life with my girls - so well aware that they won't be "mine" for a whole lot longer
Lav, I do appreciate the comments - they give me so much hope for our future - you really did set me on a path to find this opportunity. To see my girl with a big smile and a lot of hope is so worth it. SF and TT - there is pleasure in company, so thanks for sharing - and Mick - know you have been there, done that too!
Just worked out this morning that my next lie in (ie no alarm to wake me up is not for another month at least! That really feels as if I am over-scheduling! Need my tea in bed mornings every so often - maybe Thanksgiving week will find me a day???

MAE ALL....happy to report I made full stops at every 4 way stop (and there's a lot in my district)! Ticket free today. :yay: Been glued to the news and twitter re the shooting in Ottawa. It's amazing how many opinions there are from people who have no idea what's going on.

Mick...thanks for kicking us off. Sorry to hear about the ants. 2 tires to pass the MOT is not bad. Was it Pauly who had to buy a new car?

Pauly...nope didn't use any of Mick's jokes. Hope you had a good Wednesday.

Lav...yup lesson learned. He said it was the worse violation he had seen so I don't think there was any sympathy there.

SL...lots on your plate these days but you actually sound pretty good today. Maybe it's that smile and hope you see in your daughter. Take time for yourself too.

PQ, I was really surprised to hear the news of the shooting in Ottawa! We never hear about shootings north of the border. I always assumed they just don't happen very often like they do down here
