I have been rabbiting on today on the Saturday thread so I will post here to wake you up and say, hi - its a lovely Sunday here but getting into the evening.:happy2:

So consider my check in for today already on the Saturday thread and you all have a good Sunday. Hope SF that you feel bit more positive by the time Sunday comes. I am going to be out and about a lot this week with conferences etc - so might not post much. We will see.

I plan to do some outside work while the weather is still half decent. Later I will be putting together my fall/winter dish stuffed cabbage (galumpki). My CSA share yesterday included a huge 5+ pound cabbage with big beautiful leaves - oh yeah!!!!!
My DIL & grandsons will be back for dinner most likely. The little one damn well better keep his pants pulled up or I may offer to staple them in place, LOL

well just finished up outside. Lovely fall day. Finished putting on the plastic on the greenhouse, ran into one little problem. Can you guess?

Just checked in and saw your post SF - so sorry i missed you yesterday and hoping to find a post to say that you avoided going down the rabbit hole????
I took yesterday off and they girls & I went into the foothillls to the apple ranches - it was a beautiful day - way too dry Sam, but really lovely. Lots of craft vendors - got a lovely oak and moss wreath for the front door and a pile of herbs - slept with a lavender pouch last night that smelt so good, girls had a breathe easy pouch that worked so well. Lovely day.
Today cleaned out my closet and threw out a pile of stuff. Got some odd jobs done, love that feeling. Had to take call for my colleague who is off to Michigan (think he will be cold!). Had to shout at a surgeon - took me 6 - yes SIX phone calls t make him do his job, made me fizzing mad!!

Late check in for me. Buried under a pile of snow, well 4 inches for now, and with windchill factors looking at -30C for a high tomorrow.

Happy to report BBA kept it covered today! It was touch & go a few times Mick but I warned him - if you drop your pants you go home, HA HA!!!!! Hope your day went well

Much better today. I let myself sleep in.....I think I needed some good rest. Then went off to a yoga training for cancer patients and their caregivers. Immersing myself into that workshop was just what I needed. The work I am doing now matters....and I certainly can't waste any of my energy on booze. But, I do need to be mindful of self care. It seems like it is so hard to do at times when I have so much on my plate.

So glad you checked in SF. :hug: Yes you do, that's a powerful positive statement. It's especially hard to do with all on your plate but that's when it's most important. So glad I checked back in cause knowing you worked through this gives me positive thoughts before bed. :heartbeat:
