Q1: If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who had 8 kids already, three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis; would you recommend that she have an abortion?
Read the next question before scrolling down to the answer of this one.

Q2: It is time to elect the world leader, and your vote counts. Here are the facts about the three leading candidates:

    Candidate A
Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologists. He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks quite a few martinis a day.

    Candidate B
He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a great deal of whisky every evening.

    Candidate C
He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn't had any extramarital affairs.

Which of these candidates would be your choice? Decide first.

Candidate A is Franklin D. Roosevelt
    Candidate B is Winston Churchill
    Candidate C is Adolph Hitler

    Good morning Abbers

Sunny & above freezing here in these parts

Mick, that certainly is a bare bones kitchen!!!! Reminds me of a few of mine in years gone by, Ha Ha!
Hope you have a good day doing whatever it is you do on rainy Sundays!

Looks like my daughter & son-in-law will be home owners once again. The seller of the 110 year old house accepted their offer, oh boy! They won't be making settlement most likely until the end of January, just as well. Hope it goes well for them

Wishing everyone a wonderful AF Sunday!
Det, have you checked in? Greetings to TT, PQ, Pauly, SL, SF, Sam, Eloise & anyone stopping by today.

    AF since 03/26/09

      morning all
well Mick that's certainly food for thought how fates can play out! Enjoyed your pics of where your brother lives and the kitchen project... fun to see the progress.

Morning Lav, looks like rain this evening and then spring temps coming back. I saw a Curves sign in a town I pass through on my way to market! I'm sure it has been there awhile but I never noticed.

Off to cut a little firewood, build a little fence.

      be well good friends

whew! sore and tired greetings ABsters!

this will be our first night in the new place and we've spent the last two days moving literally tons of our crap.
we took ibuprofen and looking forward to an early nights sleep.

VERY happy to be AF going through all of this (wife is grateful for my sobriety too). it's so much work but we are kicking ass, so.... yay!

at the conference earlier this week there were so many extremely intoxicated folks running around and tearing up the casino. it was just frightening and embarrassing to see them.

going to be a manic MOnday but will try to get caught up here soon.

looks like slim pickin's for check-ins today... so far: Mick, Lav, Pauly, Sam, SLady...
any late nighters? we'll leave the light on...

            be well loves

Yikes...the days seem to get away from me. I read on my i-pad, but have found it not the best way to post. so it means I have lug out the actual laptop

Mick....it has been raining like crazy here....just makes me want to snuggle up and do nothing

Sam....uggh on the firewood We have a gas fireplace and have yet to use it. I can' t imagine if we had actually do more than flip a switch.

Pauly....somewhere your post made me laugh. OK.....I now have all my yoga materials next to the bed....and paid my son $6 a month to have the stair master in his room. I am paying rent in his room! Everything had been out in our sunroom, which is great if its a nice 70 degrees. But, now I love rolling out my mat while I watch LM....and in my opinion cold outside Now I have to use the stair master....because I am now paying for it.

SL....the school really stepped up.....BUT....we had to get the ADHD diagnosis first. Guess what they are doing now.....doing all the tests they should have been doing! But, overall for now....I am happy with what is happening. My son tested as basically....things go into his brain....but, have left by the time test gets there. It has been so frustrating for him to study two days....know the material....and yet get a 60.

Det....I hope you like your new place. Moving is always a mess. As many times as I have moved...you would think I would have it down. Be so glad you are doing it without kids.
