well Santa's polishing his sleigh, getting the runners all buffed. No snow for us I'm afraid so he'll have to wheels on the dang thing. Last market today till April. Then home and clean up around here.

SL, nice pics of your tree! Thinking we may not put one up this year. Depends on how much time is left to do stuff. All children are grown up, no grandkids. Does make it more festive though!

morn all...how r we today then?weekend is here so its take it easy time..well Ive done my bit with the tree...got the deccies and it out of the loft...julie is at the stage shall we shant we...plus buying pressies for everyone ...Im sure have these people just get wheeled out for chrimbo ..never heard of half of them!!we buy chrimbo deccies where ever we go so theres baubles from china,India,Moscow,St Petersburg,Prague etc so they have to get their annual"remember when we bought these?"we shall see..ok on with the show..not going to be long ...going to try and beat the mad crowds out buying everything that everyone has wanted or needed since last chrimbo..ho ho ho...the Pogues springs to mind!!

hiya tt...hows you today?all good ? cemetery sweep..is that where you all buy tickets..and the winner gets the bezziest plot?oh so now your house is going to be full of William Tell impressions?quick tip ..in case you were thinking about it ...dont balance apples on your head in close quarters with your daughter..mind you if she is anything like me...aim at the apple and shoot you in the leg!thats why I used to have a machine gun...fair chance one round will hit target!!

Mostly cloudy here. temp right at the freezing mark, could be worse, Ha Ha!!!!
I hear we're in for a boatload of rain for the holidays Sam ~ no snow. Just love mud for the holidays!!!
Hope your last market day is a good one. I will be heading out shortly to pick up this week's farm share (box-o-plenty)

Mick, I am completely immune to YB's bizarre moods at this point! I have learned the hard way that it's best just to ignore his BS. He is not going to drag me back into his chronic depression, been there & suffered for it, haven't I?
I intend to keep myself happy & healthy so I can enjoy the rest of my family despite him & his low moods. So there!!! LOL
I have to admit that the holiday decorating has become less important to me. Most of the Christmas stuff is still sitting in storage containers in the basement & that's just fine with me

I enjoy decorating the tree, but do little else. I have also collected, so it is good to remember, and the girls are young enough that traditions are important.
It is sad when the markets close - I miss getting "real" produce instead of perfect things that look (and taste) like plastic!
So much rain here - they are starting to admit that a dent is being made in the drought. Feeling a bit waterlogged - need a good walk, but the mud is a mess!!!
Cookie baking today - after I get out of my warm bed - enjoying a quiet cuppa!
