Happy Boxing Day! I won't be hitting the sales as we are driving for c 9 hours today in some pretty remote but beautiful places. I probably won't be on MWO for at least a week as I don't think there will be many wifi connections where I am going.
So enjoy the ret of your holidays - Mick, SL, PPQP, Lav, Det, Sam, Pie and Pauly and others!Yes, Pauly you have done well - when you do well - so lets hope 2015 brings less of the down-sides for you - also less awful things in your life too. That goes for all of us.

morning all....and how are we today then?all good I hope..well is that it? chrimbo day is over ..all full up ..boxing day to go thru now and then into the new year...just reading earlier...the xmas sales started yesterday proper...people shopping on line spent an average of £ £441976 per minute yesterday....so who says the true meaning of xmas is lost???nows the time to start thinking about those new year ressies..really bad snow warning here ...looks ok to me but hey I aint as qualified as the weather forecasters!!(the stone springs to mind!!)

Mae everybody, Mick if it snows snap a pic Christmas was a nice,lazy day except I must have eaten 5 plates of ham and Mac and cheese feel like captain bloato! Watched tv wanting Christmas shows there weren't many on,so ended up with "mean girls" "fast times at ridgemont high" and "half baked" not christmasy at all!I feel bad because I dodged two calls from my little brother, I knew he had already been drinking though and just didn't want to deal with it,even though I do love him,PPQP,I hope you're feeling better yes when my kids are doing bad,I can feel it ,it feels worse than my own depressed times,just make sure your son knows your door to talk is always open, I'm sure he already knows though hello Lav,SL,Sam,Pie,Det,have a good Friday

Checking in to say things are much better for me today. Did manage to get a long sleep last night so that helped. My son's still depressed but I find it's easier to deal with this morning. Going to keep encouraging talking and try to get him physically active with something. Thanks for the PM's and support last night, it is greatly appreciated. slept in till 9 today! whew wee too much chocolate, then crash and burn. Nice that the sun is out and think I'll con tinue on the never ending fence project. One section at a time.

PQ, glad things look a little better with sleep. Good sleep is an amazing thing.

TT, don't know if you will read this but enjoy your travels! It really is great to disconnect with the outside world at times.

How do Mick? nothing special planned here. Hope to get with friends and play some toones soon. Might have to go see someone to get this fluid drained off my elbow. Might cramp my style for awhile.

Hello Abbers! Mild temps here, but gray skies and drizzle. I'm jealous of your sunshine Lav, and Sam. Speaking of sunshine, PPQP, do you have enough where you are? Many folks are sensitive to a lack of it, and suffer depression as a result. SAD I think it's called.

Mick, I wasn't around any drinkers yesterday, yet still felt a strong call. Drinking was pretty much a solo activity for me anyway. Took a double dose of Antabuse today just because. TT, where is it that you're traveling? If you choose to say, of course, or maybe you have and I missed it.

SAD is a huge problem - and not often realized - I love living where we get sun, and it has been out today, but cold!! Well for Ca - they are predicting the first frost of the season - and we are really lucky, can see the snow on the hills without dealing with driving in it...
