Still waiting for the new year to arrive ~ it will get here when it gets here 
I ended up with my grandsons from noon until almost 9:30 pm. Fun but noisy & tiring as usual.
We did find bird netting & got it installed over the chicken run this afternoon. Nearly froze ourselves, it's really cold out. I hope this stops the hawks from getting in - damn murderers! YB finally got the seriousness of the situation, duh.
Mick, I hope Julie is OK. Rest & plenty of fluids helps most everything this time of the year. Any more snow in your forecast?

SL, geez, when it rains it pours, huh? Glad your oldest is holding her own post-extraction. Your #2 sounds like she's in for a few days of misery, sorry. Sneak in some of that wonderful bone broth for both of the girls. Get some rest when you can too. Aren't you grateful to have a clear head to deal responsibly with all this??
