MAE absteroos! Looks like I have joined the sickies - at least for a bit - with a sore throat. Courtesy of a tourist coughing over me in a bus the other day I think. But feeling better after some sleep - we are now on a 3 day road trip driving home. More amazing scenery although I have also promised the girl some shopping time at a regional market. I have tried to keep informed of peoples goings on here in 2015 - but always a bit hard to read when you are on the run.
Am so glad that things are getting wee bit better for you PPQP. And no doubt your girls will be on the mend too soon, SL.
Weather sounds ghastly in your parts of the world - well esp the UK and the East Coast of the US.
But I bet its lovely where you are Pie. Sunny here and mild temperatures but not cold.

I hear you on the exercise equipment Pauly -we have hired some in the past as a trial - and it never was worth it. Also takes up too much room if you don't have the space - and becomes an injury hazard. Stick to yoga mats - much safer!

How bad are the fuel prices where you are? We've recently had a drop in our prices but I'm sure they'll go back up again next summer.

I'm still feeling guilty about the recent hen murders here but hoping we've seen the last of that business.
I baked up a seed treat 'peace offering' for the girls yesterday. They loved it

I find it wise to not be so forth-coming with certain individuals though because it just opens the door for a lot of unwanted judgment. I tend to pick & choose to keep the drama down

a cold wet rainy morn it is, too. Critters fed, my new fence seems to be working, so far. No visiting bull but he'll find another way in I'm sure. He's a most determined thing.

TT, thanks for the kick off. Sounds as if you're having a good trip, 'cept for the yuck, hopefully it is a passing thing.

Morning Mick, sounds like you've got your day of fun all planned. So you've had snow then rain later, it must be be quite muddy your way. Got anything growing? Winter greens perhaps? So far our greenhouse has been a success, but it has not really been cold this year so it is not a real test.

Morning Eloise, nice to see you pop in, hope it is habit forming! The blahs, they come and go. Winter is especially blahish if it stays overcast. We've had our share of grey but hopefully our water levels are good with the rains we've been getting.

Pie, how's you're day going? Glad your catch up day was a positive one. Hopefully more to come! I'm with you on the caulk theory!!

Read somewhere that the state of ol Virginny gives some grant $$ for honey bee rearing. Must investigate, a good project for a rainy day. Be well good friends.

Morning - still cold here, weatherman said it would start to warm!
Yes tea in bed again, thank Mick - soon be back to normal and that won't happen for months, so need to make the most of it!
Youngest pretty yucky last night, whatever she has is not good - wish the antibiotics would kick in, my nurse brain is on overdrive!
Woke feeling little hungover today - think it is the stress of last week, and all the sugar I have eaten! Need to get back on track!
Took all decorations down yesterday - and did a grocery shop! Think I will do beds and laundry today.

Mick...water! All I could think of was THE apple. lol World looking ok so far today just bleed'n cold out there. Not going down to Dad's there's an outbreak so best to stay away. Two more days of hols left just wish it wasn't during the deep freeze. Next week we're back to he positives though.

It's cold here Sam but the local farmers are growing beautiful greens & things as evidenced by my weekly farm share. I hope you are growing some good veggies

I imagine you can put just about anything in that your chickens like. I baked it in a tube pan, it was fun. Nothing left of it but the string now.

We did take a run to COSTCO today to load up on necessities & things you really don't need but want to try like black bean spaghetti, LOL I have a two pound box in my pantry now, can't wait to try it out!
