Gosh SL, I was worried when I saw the word hangover on your post but I see it's the other kind. You must be so exhausted with the girls’ – and it cant be fun for them too.
You take care with the crap weather Sam. We are heading towards 30 degrees Celsius here – but its still cold at night.
Yes, Pie – it can be good to just come out to old friends about the truth about one’s drinking. I did this ages ago with a few very close friends and its now part of our ‘normal’. And if they want to drink that's fine as they know I don’t mind since they are not maudlin drunks or idiots.
I do travel a lot Mick but often that's with the job. This one is our summer holiday and me and my partner had to take 2 weeks off from annual leave over the past few weeks. We have tried ‘at home’ holidays and they don’t work for us. Lazybones would just sleep until midday each day and daughter would get bored as her mates are away. And I would crack the whip. This trip has kept us on our toes.
Lav – gas is really really expensive in NZ. It always has been. But so is airtravel and it usually costs a lot to fly out of the country. Public transport is really bad and we don’t have long distance train travel. So thems the options!
Love the pic of your hens and I am sure they enjoyed their seed treat. Can I have one?
Good to see you Eloise and you will see we are a strange lot here.
Are you on an offski today Mick?
Hope all remains as calm as can be PPQP.
And hi there Pauly! As well as Det.
OK I better rouse the troops and destroy my peace. My partner has slept for 12 hours and he is still snoring. I really think he needs to see a dr about this.
Have a great Sunday and it sounds like you better all keep as dry (haha pun!!) and warm as possible.
