Morning – I survived my tellie night. Actually I could only last one show – not much stamina ay? Start of the new week- getting busy at work now but I can work from home today. Just been paying some bills. What joy!
Great posts Pauly (although lack of sleep is awful) and yes, it is embarrassing to post sometimes – about relapses or just general mucky feelings. Not everyone can open up or wants to – we are all different that way. But it seems to help a lot of folk. Its like when you have a big blow-up at home (not that I ever do –:eek-new: haha – pigs flying in droves around my head at that comment) and then you say ‘well I wish you had told me how you feel’ etc etc. Because often the blow-up is much worse than the original gripe. Same goes with relapse I think – its much worse than the stuff building up.
I don’t know if I told you guys – but last week I heard from a friend who lives overseas. She visited last year and we talked about my drinking probs and getting sober – and then she opened up about her probs with AL. So I said a few low-key things and later gave her my old copy of the Jason Vale book. I know it's simplistic and annoying but she said she read it and that since Christmas she has not had a drink – and thanked me. And I have told her I am there if she needs me.

Mick – soon you will dreaming about your upcoming holiday. Do you book through an agent or do it on-line?

that's why I think it's so important to talk about this, think about it if you hadn't casually mentioned your drink probs and casually gave her your old book maybe she would've carried on drinking for who knows how long,that's why here you never know if something you post,no matter how small may be a huge help to someone else,okay, gotta get back to Sunday and you get to work!
it's gotten worse, I've tried to kill them with kindness but they just give off negative energy that I don't care for!hello to Pie,PPQP, Nar,TT,SL SF,let's have a good Monday
