It sure is COLD here on the east coast - goodness!!!!

I've been out & about all day taking care of business & did end up bringing one grandson home tonight. He's completely over his viral funk. The other one is still sick & their mother is as well - yuck.

Glad to see everyone checking in but where are our guys Mick & Det? Hope they are OK!

Pie - sorry you are feeling that way, and also that you would not want to post if you were.
I don't 'know' you too well yet, so not sure how this is impacting you. Sometimes I feel as if I post too much about the errant thoughts. Today was a good day, sun was out, moon not bugging me, girls on even keel and it was Friday night. No errands to run, all home safe and cosy and 6pm, and a glass of wine sounded perfect - and it would have been if I had the ability to stop at one. As others said if I play it through in my mind then the good turns bad....it was not one glass and tomorrow would not start lovely, well rested, clear headed and ready for a good walk in the sun! End of longing...,
There are lots of posts about relapse in the making, and writing out my thoughts put the reality into the dream and makes it a nightmare....
Please don't hesitate to post, protect your quit Pie!!!

Pie, I was about to write to you but then found that my buddy SL beat me to it! I think an online forum works only if you really use it - and that means being honest about what is going on with you. It's tough sometimes, but worth it! Hope you're feeling fine now. xx, NS
