MAE everyone – Sunday afternoon here and I will be brief. Just to get things running. Mick – folk would like to know that you are OK (don't do a DI Hardy on us!!!) - no doubt this is your early-off day and you are cutting your way through the cold and ice.
It seems that everyone had a good Valentine’s Day. Lots of great advice for Pie – so please Pie do post when you get those enticing calls about having a drink – we all know what you mean.
Like SL –I also made a comment about not liking blond jokes and this was a simple response to someone else who said they liked them. This was also not intended to upset Mick or to stop him posting jokes - as I know so many love to read these and it's a great way to wake up in the morning. I also appreciate the huge amount of time and dedication Mick takes to respond to folk on this thread. I have often started the thread but sometimes I am not able to respond with the same amount of detail as Mick does (like today). Even the tiny amount I do takes time - and often this just isn't possible while also getting everything else ready in the early morning. Its not morning now – but I am half juggling getting dinner ready. But I am also in a tricky situation because of the time difference - its 5pm Sunday here now.
One wee problem - its not a biggie but…and that is simultaneous threads for the same day. It can be a bit frustrating if you start a thread and then it gets sort of lost because another thread starts. I don't know how to overcome this - I try to always check before I post but that doesn’t always work. As I said this is not a big deal - so lets just plod along.
So sorry but no jokes here yet and today I won’t go through everyone’s names – but the list is getting longer which is great! You all have a great Sunday and keep the thread alive. Tonight is my Broadchurch night - don't disturb me when its on!!!

I have a habit of just saying anything that pops into my head,also if I say anything in the future that's not quite right please tell me, people have to speak up,I had a regular customer tell me I cut his hair so short he looked like" Dumb and Dumber" haha,thank goodness he came back to me instead of going to somewhere else, told me of my mistake and now we're ace,I just don't start chitchatting and get scissor happy now,I'd rather know I messed up and fix it ya know?
