Today was one of those days.....sunny&warm......teasing us.....because snow it threatening again! Not in Nashville


I also learned about "real" cabin fever......ummmm.....it means EVERTHING IS CLOSED.....and there is no reason to go anywhere. Today I went out for "nothing"......except to get out of the house

I hope that everyone is well.....and I will check in.....

I'm getting out & about this morning, getting to Curves, the supermarket & anywhere else I can before the nasty weather resumes.

Morning all, thanks for the kick off today SF, somehow I missed getting on here yesterday. By the time my day finished, it was too late. Glad we had PQ to post the morning good humor. Yesterday was the first bit of sun we had so I went to visit a large farm over towards the Blue Ridge and checked out their pig and cow set up. Interestingly, they do not own the land but lease it all. They also had a few of the highland cows.

so another week of precip and then maybe the sun will appear!!

Lav, be careful out there driving, don't know how much frozen stuff you got on the ground, our snow has melted then has been frozed!!

MAE all. Nice of you to start us up SF! It's after 1pm here, and just getting on to post. I did make it to yoga last night, and this morning as well. I'll be in the area of the studio through Wednesday, so hopefully another class or two for me. Also got a manicure & pedicure which is nice 'cause I've been wearing flip flops to yoga. Though another cold front is expected, we don't exactly have ice on the ground.

Sam...nice pics. We've been hit with a couple of days of 1F but going up to 33F tomorrow and 57F on Monday. Could spring possibly be on its way?

Hey there Mick - having fun in the sun

Loved everyone's today!
I put one on Facebook tonight of my chickens. The goofballs are cramming themselves 4 or 5 deep in the nest boxes so naturally I'm not getting a whole lot of eggs during this extreme weather, ha ha! I went in & opened the lid on the nest boxes expecting to find eggs & found a bunch of crazy chickens instead, LOL.

I was lucky enough to get back home before the ice storm started - it's a real mess out there. Supposedly rain all day tomorrow then up to 8" of snow on Thursday. This just seems wrong :sad:

It's around midnight and I see that it is 63 degrees. I am going to go stand outside for a few minutes because it looks like our temps are going to be dropping fast. Guess I'll go check the moon out

Pie, I've only been fencing for a few months but have been enrolled in some kind of martial art all my life.
Fencing is fantastic for fitness and is low impact so I'm hurting myself less these days.

PPQ, hope the long evening is enjoyable and you don't have to put up with any obnoxious boozers.
