Went to see the worst faith healer ever last night.

He was so bad, a bloke in a wheelchair got up and walked out.

The gold edition of the Apple Watch is priced at $10,000.
If I wanted to spend $10,000 on something that'll be obsolete in 3 years, I'd buy an engagement ring.

Granada TV are currently scouting in Glasgow for people to appear on the new series of The Jeremy Kyle Show. They are looking for people with shaved heads, goatee beards, tattoos on knuckles, beer bellies and personal hygiene issues.

Successful applicants will be allowed to bring their husbands along with them.

My son came up to me sobbing his eyes out because his toy was broken.

Go and pass me the super glue," I smiled, "We'll have this fixed in no time."

It actually worked, he never made a sound for the next ten hours.

I learned two very important lessons today.

I can't remember the first lesson, but the second one is I have to start writing things down.

After winning the plagiarism case against Pharrel Williams and Robin Thicke, an emotional Nona Gaye, daughter of Marvin, said outside court 'I finally feel free from the chains'.

She is now being sued by Wilson Phillips.

"Sir! Open up immediately, this is the police!"

If my own mother can't make me eat vegetables, the Police fecking can't either.

The local farmer was explaining that he specialised in a specific area of agriculture. what field I asked.

Who is the poorest person in Arkansas?

    The tooth fairy.

I got caught speeding yesterday. The policeman asked me to step out of the car and walk in a straight line.

Half way down he stopped me and said, "I'm sorry sir, but you'll have to come back to the station with me as you're staggering."

I replied, "Oohh, you little tiger, you're not so bad looking yourself."

Me and a few friends went out for a meal the other week, we all decided we would try the duck...

I always seem to get stuck with the bill.

    Good morning Abbers!

Thanks for the start up Mick
You seem to be in hyper mode - don't hurt yourself, Lol
Yes, the snow continues to melt & I can actually see my raised garden beds now - yay! I won't be planting anything for a while though, the night time temps will be harsh for a while. But I am going to Longwood gardens with my girls today so I am sure to come home with some inspiration, Yay!!

PQ, you are one busy lady! Take some time for you & remember to breathe - that's important! Happy to hear your eye is healing.

narilly, stay close & connected to us during these busy times. We are your support group & hand out a lot of hugs

Hey Molly, glad to see you here yesterday, glad you are doing well!

Pi, if you need some projects I can probably come up with a few thousand around here for you
How do you feel about working around a couple dozen smelly chickens, ha ha!!! I really do need to do something about the door to the chicken house - it's falling apart. We did contact the Amish guy who built the shed a couple of years ago about getting a door replacement but they work at their own pace. Oh well.

    Hi there Det!
    Still no Pauly??

Wishing everyone a great AF Thursday!

    Lav
    AF since 03/26/09

Success comes one day at a time

The super glue joke does it for me this morning, Mick. Prolly explains why no one asks me to babysit! Speaking of snails, here's one in my garden right now. Not sure if he crawled here from Spain tho. snail.jpg

And since you mentioned your conservatory door, this leaded glass one on my pantry is a favorite. Pulled it out of a junk heap, and restored. pantry door.jpg

PQ, I got to watch the DST hearing on archived video. Committee asked for some clarifying language to be added to the bill, then resubmit next week. Seems those in favor of keeping DST are very keen on extra daylight after work. Some think we should just stay on DST, and not return to standard time in the fall. I could get on board with that, as it would eliminate the 2x/year time changes that irk me.

Det, if I were to pick just one herb to grow, it would be basil as well.

Not sure what I'm up to today, but forecast is 100% chance of rain, so likely will be indoors.

Have a good one, my peeps!

            MAE ALL...

Mick...thanks for kicking us off this morning. Hope the Manchester trip went off without a hitch. I'll see if we can do a late build so you and pi will be here for Stampede.

Lav...hope you enjoyed your Longwood Garden trip. I'd be too tempted to start planting if I visited one of those.

Pi...I'm with you, either one will work. It'll be interesting to see what they say next week. Please don't bring your snail friends when you come to help Mick build the pergola.

Typing this at work and now the boss has returned so must be off. Will pop back later..........:smile:PPQP
