mornin folks out again early today..so here goes ...got Sandy back from vets..had the op ..now she is on antibiotics and pain relief...that Ive got to give her orally..despite being woozy and disorientated she fights heavy duty!!darent tell you how much the vets bill was...fortunately we took out pet insurance years ago....
anyways how are you all?good I hope weekends here so brew and march on!!

hiya Sam..nice pics of the pigs ..what kind are they?as for the shoes get them shiny shiny.....be positive....hmm now why should I accept this job youre offering me?..not quite that but not so far away from it....

morn Det hows you today?at least ya the sense to jump back in here afore the wheel really fell off..!you know the score, booze doesnt work as a permanent amnesia blocker,so jump back on the bus and lets go...youre driving!!

hiya tt ..nice to hear from you....glad all is well with you.

good morning NS..how are you today then ?nice to see you pop in

hiya ppqp..handing over responsibilities ?website ?what have I missed here?glad the eye is better..now that the crazee glue has gone..tell me ..did the shelves glue together better with eye drops??? :harhar:have a great weekend...

hiya pie ..hows you?well whats the verdict on the fridge then?has it given up the ghost?yep sandy is home..def not a happy bunny...and I hate giving her meds too...Friday today,so reckon you may be at work ...enjoy...have a great weekend..

hey pauly hows you then?..go get em cowboy!!!do you know ..never heard you so chirpy for a good while like that...so whatever was different ..keep doing it!!sounds like a fun packed weekend for you!!

hiya bear..hows ou then?gotta be our choice with the skating..its just that it caused you so much hassle b4..reckon you can do it?as for the member of your team that hadnt done the work...2 ways to deal with that for me

way 1...tough sh.t you should have done it before you went on leave ...pays your money takes your chance

way 2 team .together everyone achieves more....do exactly as it says ..you all pull her out of the mire...but on her return she has a nice cosy one way discussion with her manager (you)as to how she nearly dropped herself and the rest of you in the mire ..not acceptable ..performance issue, priorities blah blah..end of discussion..with that you should have a grateful, loyal team member or a "who gives a sh.t attitude person" and then deal with accordingly.. hav a great weekend...

hiya Lav hows you today then?all good...? your post..."Sam, hope you have found your shoes for the interview - wishing you the best

    "I have that Mick."

    "And how was it?"

"Feckin' train nearly ran me over."

A man walked into a newspaper office with an ad saying:

    'Man seeks woman to date.'

He was asked: "Do you want to insert it today?"

Man: "Sure, but I can't write that in the ad, can I?"

hey there - morning Mick - I think things have changed re derby team, and I have changed my outlook, will have more time and am not committing in the same way.I'm also happy to confront issues as they come up now.Few months away too.

Off to work for a busy day - need to try and pull together something for this magazine, feeling wee bit stressed, remembering to breathe and exercise to help myself through.Taking day off study tomorrow and working Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday on it - plus have next weekend. It will get done.

Glad I'm sober - still got some floating anxiety left from booze at the weekend I reckon.Have a great day everyone
    det hope you're ok

Mick bunny fighting back is a good sign - though maybe not for your arms!

Good morning Abbers, happy Friday to all

Did I confuse you with my post Mick? I was just answering Sam's question about egg production & how it falls off after a time, ha ha!
The wild fluctuations in temperatures messes with the hens as well. Freezing here this morning!
Glad I didn't plant anything yet, I'm keeping my baby plants safe.

bear, I hope everything works out for you with your skating team. Just keep yourself & your quit as top priority!

Wishing everyone a great AF Friday! I'm off to Curves then back here for a bit of work, yay.

      Lav
      AF since 03/26/09
      NF since 05/19/09
Success comes one day at a time

Mae everybody, glad Sandy is ok Mick, but trust me I understand how strong bunnies can fight, those hind legs are strong! Love the man with the personals ad and the mice walking around on stilts haha, there's a Scottish guy who has been coming in to the shop for years, brings his poodle with him,it's cute cuz they resemble each other with the same white hair, anyways he was in Tuesday and my friend was cutting his hair while I played with"Killer"(the dog) I was listening to him talk and wondered if Mick sounds like him,I asked my friend if she can ever understand him we both said no,words here and there but he talks fast and with the accent, it's hard haha, day off and I don't know what to do today, just take it easy and figure something out I guess, ate too much junk food yesterday, kinda feel it today, hello to all and I'll probably stop in later, have a nice Friday
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Morning Mick, Bear,Lav, Pauly, and all to come.

Yes, work opportunities today are plentiful, but I've misplaced my motivation. Not working for several days in a row invites inertia to set in. Makes doing hair, makeup, and professional dress seem downright burdensome.

It's the freezer side of fridge causing trouble. Dr. Google says likely that drain hole for defrost cycle is frozen over, so water is overflowing to bottom of freezer. Defrost cycle was running earlier, so got the drain hole cleared for now. Likely it will recur, but at least I now know what it is. Fridge was given to me by a friend with an extra, to buy me a few months before having to get a new one. May go check out the Sears scratch n' dent store today.

I'll check up on all you bacon lovers later.

Hi NS, for sure it's got plenty of flexibility.

How's Sandy doing this evening, Mick? Think she'll be up to meeting the new arrival tomorrow?

bacon pie.jpg Bacon pie. It's what's for dinner. Or dessert?

                MAE ALL....

Mick...thanks for kicking us off this morning. Glad Sandy is home safe and sound and in your competent hands. I will tell you what the ambulance trip cost though $385....waiting for another pay day to deal with it. Got an invite to dine at the boss's house on Sunday. He is taking the staff out for lunch on Monday before he heads off on holidays for 2 weeks. Wonder if he's planning on making an announcement and wants to run it by me first. We shall see. (No pun intended)

Bear...one of the best things I learned here is that you can't control what happens but you can control how you react to it. That has helped me immensely in dealing with the accountant from h*ll.

Lav...it's not hard to confuse Mick is it? LOL Hope you had a great day.

Pauly...so what did you get up to with your day off?

Pi...."Not working for several days in a row invites inertia to set in. Makes doing hair, makeup, and professional dress seem downright burdensome." I hear ya! Finding this job was a godsend as I can wear the same clothes I wear on the weekends. Same thing happened with a fridge I had and yes had to eventually replace it.

Boss told me to lock up the upper floor when I leave and I replied so around 3:30? And he said yes, go for it. I like not having to work till 5 every now and then. Relaxing evening ahead for me then down to check on my Dad tomorrow. Have a peaceful evening all......:smile:PPQP

WooHoo on early start to your weekend, PQ! It does sound as though boss wants to share something with you in advance of staff lunch. Will stay tuned to see what develops.

Hey, here's some lettuce if you need it for dinner. I'm sure it came from someone's garden

Hi AB peeps, very tired today. tried to do a few too many work emails trying to catch up. glad it's the weekend...think I'll be
                        doing some sleeping in.

NS, yes I let both my diet and fencing totally go this last month. I'm sure there is a causative effect for sure.
sleep well loves and be well. zzzzzzzzzzz
