Good morning Abbers & Happy Father's day if you are celebrating

I've made some coffee, guess Mick was too busy this morning!
We had some big T storms last evening that dumped probably about 2" of rain on us, geez!

Pie, glad to see you are moving on & feeling positive
I'm sure we all get those moments of wondering 'what's next'. I have learned to push them out of my head, tell the ego to shut the hell up & enjoy the day anyway. Turning my attention to others has saved my hide

Hiya folks. .well here we are on the mobile again. . Managed to get on the Internet at about 6 this morning bit agreed that it's all gone pear shaped. . Keeps coming up with err ...timed out..tried 3 separate browsers but to no avail....longest day of summer today. .and it's peeing down. Night 2 for the rabbits being together. .no dramas. .hope everyone is doing ok...will try to get on the net after grrrrr

good morning all,
been out of action the last couple days. May seem odd, but sometimes I enjoy reading but can't think of much to say. Sometimes I don't much to say but say it anyway. Today is the wife's and my anniversary. Somehow we put up with each other for 26 years. After my first marriage I wasn't so sure about the institution of marriage, yet here we are and things are as about as rosy as they've ever been. Had I kept drinking, I am certain I'd be singing a different tune. It has been hot and suppose to get hotter this weekend. Lav, we have just a glance of what you received storm wise last night. Got some much needed rain but the lightning wasn't too severe. Thanks for the brew, Lav. Check in later to see how everyone is.

just managed to get on here....its crazy ...the main computer upstairs wouldnt let me on..neither this one or the notebook or the hudl...checking everything it says there are no faults...right ..jokes i missed this morning....oh and the brew...

As the new presenter of Top Gear, Chris Evans has said one of his co-presenters will be female.

In honour of this, the first Top Gear Challenge will be teaching her how to fecking park.

Top Gear's attempt at a new female stig had to be abandoned after she completed a lap of the track in a new porsche in 22 minutes. She spent the first 20 minutes looking for the keys to the car in her handbag. .

I saw a sign on the train saying,

I don't know who he is but I feel like I missed out not meeting him too.

Sam...happy anni....can't put it any more eloquently than ABCowboy did. There's lots of times I read the thread and don't have anything to say either. If someone is hurting I will take the time to express my own personal experiences as I think it makes people feel better when they know they're not alone or that "it's" happened to others.

ABC....good to see you popping in. I see that flag flying proudly around the site. Hope you're surviving these pop up thunderstorms.

Pi...wanted to tell you about a life saver I found. After my marriage broke up I was headed down a scary path and the Doc wanted me to enter the Mental Healthcare System due to anxiety and panic attacks. I don't know where I heard about it but I googled Meetup - Manic Depressive Support - Calgary and found a support group for spouses of those who are bipolar. It was just what I needed as it's hard to explain to people what happens/goes on if they aren't around manic depressives. You can just google Meetup and the name of the city you live in and you will get a list of all kinds of groups that just get together. Try Meetup animal rescue city where you live and see what happens. You'll also get some great ideas for new adventures.

I have decided not to smoke in the new vehicle....not to smoke outside at the centre as that's were all the children enter/exit....and once I get the painting started in the condo not to smoke inside either. The price of the cigs will pay my car loan with some left over....so on to a new challenge.

PQ, I highly recommed using some quit smoking aid (patches, gum, lozenges) & hypnosis. That's what finally helped me quit after dozens of attempts. Good choice not to smoke in your new vehicle, you won't regret that

Pauly, the allergy girl! I feel sorry for you & wish you could catch a break. Have yuo ever had allergy testing? My daughter did last year & finally found out what she was actually reacting to - trees & bunny rabbits!!!! We had a bunny when she was a little girl & I was seriously allergic to him, hmm.

I am roasting a big chunk of pork, YB's favorite - not so much mine, oh well.
