I totally agree with the making new friends thing - it's difficult as an adult.

SF, we are dealing with heat indexes here too. 90 some degrees out but feels like it's 105, yuck. I like wind chills better

I was unable to hang on to old friends from school. It's weird when your spouse ends up being a cop & the old gang is still smoking pot, LOL I have no desire to be part of that crowd at this age - they look ridiculous.

Thanks Pauly and Lav. I seriously feel like I have no "real friends". I guess that is the price of this thing. I really don't mind if someone has a drink or two....they don't have to be sober.....just not getting so out of whack....that when you have said you are coming with your kids.....that they are 2 sheets to wind on pot. Not friends that I need.
It's still hard to feel so alone.

Our heat indexes this week went up to 115.....and then crawl in a car! Us southerners have learned to stand oust side the car while it cools down!
