Stay warm out there, Mick! Gone detecting have you? Thought of you yesterday when I found an old coin inside a wall. Well, not old in the UK sense, of course. Guest pup goes home this morning, then I'm out to visit Dad, then contractor #3 comes at 5pm. First guy estimated 5-8 days to complete because of dry times needed between steps in the tiling process.

How are you this morning, PQ?

    Happy Sunday to all!

      Good Sunday morning Nesters!

Cloudy & freezing here but at least it's not snowing!

Mick, I sure hope you find something good today
I keep seeing that picture but don't see anything in it, ha ha!! I guess the red chalk line helps a lot!!!

      Pie, nice work there!!
Good luck with everything going on today.

PQ, wow, sorry you are having such problems. Keep those feet elevated as much as possible to help reduce the swelling. Will be thinking of you

No special plans for me today, will see what happens.
Make it a great aF day everyone!

          MAE ALL....

Sam...good to see you popping in even when life and work keeps you busy.

Mick...thanks for the quick kickoff. Good luck with detecting today. Even with the red outline had to really look to see it. I'm sure the rash is a reaction to the humira. It's actually not too bad this morning. The feet on the other hand are worse. Was quite the challenge to walk into the kitchen for coffee this morning.

Pi...glad to help with the grocery list. LOL I picked up a lavender scented Epson salt and can smell it throughout the house. Probably because it's on my feet. LOL Going to spend more time soaking feet today. Good luck with the next contractor. You do have quite the job on your hands.

Lav...will take your advice and keep the feet elevated in between soakings. They are quite swollen this morning. I can sure relate to my sister's feet issues (due to diabetes) now.

Pauly...I'd need my own 12 pack too. Glad to hear the party went well. Hope you have a great Sunday.

Off to get another cuppa....should only take me 1/2 hour to walk across the room. LOL Have a Super Sunday all......:smile:PPPQ

Pauly, I am really glad there were no temptations for you at Louie's party. Besides, remembering these early days with the kids is the best

PQ, I hope you get some relief real soon. Be careful you don't go falling or anything, OK?

My part beagle dog has decided it's more fun to chase groundhogs than to listen to me trying to call her in - grrr. If she doesn't come in soon I'll just toss a blanket out on the deck for her, screw this

                  Peace to everyone!

well, I started to post this AM but things started happening, my daughter's 27 year old horse was down. Called the vet in and had to put her down, always the vet on a Sunday. Next is get someone out here to bury the poor thing. My daughter was quite upset, understandably.

it has been an animal weekend, Friday night a border collie shows up, very sweet animal but very obviously someone's dog. No id, called neighbors, etc. so I reluctantly took him to the pound Saturday morning. Saturday night, someone's parked at the gate down the bottom of our hill hollering so I make my way down there to see what's up. Figured it was folks getting drunk and stupid. Our drive/gate is at the end of state maintenance. Found these folks hollering for their dogs.... coon hunting. So I let them in and we walk the bottom ground and they find one of them. Don't know if they ever found the other.

This am also had good news though, the pound called and the dog was found by its owner. She was grateful I took it to the pound, so that kind of changes my outlook on them. I had actually thought of going back if no one claimed him in a week and bringing him back. alls well on that one anyway!

So I didn't get much accomplished but I felt like I did a lot.

Enjoyed reading everyone's post, late dinner then off to look at the back side of my eyelids.

                    Later

                        Happy late Sunday ABenators!!

wow Sam, craziness on the farm. isn't 27 rather old for a horse? I thought they only lived 15 for some reason.

PPQ, glad you figured out the foot thingy, that's no fun.

Pauly, great job resisting the call of the beast. i also did good at a party last night where a lot of folks were blabbering wasted. This little old lady of about 75+ almost fell on me! it was actually kind of cute.

tomorrow is my first work day where I don't have work! holy snot Batman. That's going to feel odd indeed but I'm A-OK

Lav, good luck herding the doggies

time to find a nice hypno and space out for the night

                        be well peeps
