mornin all..how are we today then Friday 13th ...unlucky Friday or whatever..supposed to be unlucky for countless reasons...Adam and Eve got kicked out of Eden because of the dodgy apple affair,the crucifixion on a Friday...tho how they knew it was Friday is pretty good ,considering it is supposed to be named after Freya,one of the Norse gods then they have got their own spin on it...the Norse gods were having a bit of a shindig ..all 12 of them ,when Loki,the evil one bowls up ..making it 13 and so on...anyways its the start to the weekend so cant be that dodgy!

Hiya Det...hope you are feeling better today...did you get any medical help?its all well and good quitting drinking"cold turkey "per se..but when you start mixing meds with it ,you dont know what the outcome will be....no one does ..simply because you are an individual ,and all the results /tests etc are generalised..last thing you need is a lecture ,but look after yourself,that is first and foremost ,and to me mixing booze and pills aint so hot..dont give up trying to give up tho....just stay safe.

Similarily telling jokes about the Scotsman ..am I picking on him ..or the other 3 by leaving them out? kinda like chicken and egg...and yet we have developed a whole world of political correctness thru this!anyways have a great weekend with the grandkids..
hiya Lav....I take it in your post you meant nice and not mice???how was the day for you ?...its blowing a real hooley over here today....got a lot of plating done yesterday,onions,turnips,parsnips peas and broad beans.......got everything nice n tidy ...and last night the horses trotted by and kinda went yum yum ..at the flowers ...so Ive had to put up some temp fencing across the top at the back to stop them..made a digging box for Jeeves...he is well impressed....as he is with herbs!!here you go ...big brew...mouth was really sore yesterday..but strangely enuff managed to suffer the pain of ice cream!!have a great weekend.

Det,I really hope you're doing ok,check in when you can,I know its not good to mix alcohol with meds but when I've read the meds threads it seems like they take the baclofen and keep drinking until it magically makes them drink less,then nothing? I'm still confused by how it works,I'm not interested in taking that stuff anyways,all meds scare me,even the Advil I scarf down like skittles haha,that's stuffs hard on your heart,stomach,god knows what else but sometimes I just need it,anyways hope everyone enjoys their day,much love to all my friends
