No porn-worthy food here, just a bowl of cereal. Seared scallops sound very appealing, Det. Do you prefer the sea or the bay scallops? Mick, do you have a favorite destination so far? Pauly, you off work for the holiday?

I'll be sticking close to home for a couple more days, tending to the little furry ones. All okay so far, but really can't leave them unattended for any length of time. A bit like two year-olds, I imagine, can't be trusted not to do something foolish. Frustration getting Dad settled continues. Every time I think I see a path to smoother sailing, some obstacle appears. And when that obstacle is Dad himself, I lose my patience and yell at him. Not proud to admit this, and working to change my thinking.

I found dealing with the elderly, on a day to day basis essentially frustrating (at home & at work)! You have to be sure to take care of yourself first & foremost. I wish you all the best :hug:

Hi Lav....having a tough time. Did enjoy my visit, lots of support, just having a hard time trying to quit crying. Ex has been especially cruel today and it got to me.
