ooooh I forgot about the camping conversion. Pic please. Thanks for the brew and kicking us off this morning. So did I miss the story of your exploding head?!? When you get home you'll have to explain.
Haven't looked outside yet but it seems eerily quiet out there compared to last night's thunderous storm. Haven't felt the house shake like that for a long time. It must have been sitting right over top of us. Will have to venture out to the garden and see what damage was done.
Have a super Sunday all....:smile:PPQP

Good Sunday morning Abbers!
Thanks for waking us up Mick!
Please keep your head intact, you're going to need that thing
Wishing you a wonderful last day of vacation!
PQ, summer storms can be pretty wicked. I hope your gardens are OK.
We are enjoying a 'cold front from Canada' today, ha ha!! We sure need it, thanks
Have a peaceful day!
Hello to the rest of the crew, I'll be back later.
Have a great AF day everyone.

Good morning all
nice relaxing morning, I deserve it!!!...... well don't we all, eh?? Mick, in your conversion van, don't forget to put a small oxygen tank in for the higher climes.
So I just got a new computer for upgrade in surveying software, the Win 10 is a bit confusing, reckon cause it's new, which will coincide with software update. My old computer wouldn't jive with the new etc. Wish the hell everyone would be satisfied with what works.
PQ, hope storms weren't too furious. Mother Nature has her ways! Seems like it has been quiet on the hurricane front so far, but still early.
Lav, beautiful day out, isn't it? Moving hay today, lovely day to ride a tractor.
Greetings to all stopping by today.

Pauly...now you've gone and made me hungry. Can't get sausages off my mind, but not the turkey ones. LOL
Pi...glad you popped in, you've been on my mind.
Sam...great pic. Are you competing for Det's job? I think mother nature is a cowboy. She's always around for the stampede. Be thankful that you upgraded to Win 10 instead of Win 8.
Lav...you're welcome. LOL Yup, decided I'm having a peaceful day. Just have to run out and get some sausages.

Wow, Mick, what a trip!!!
NIce to see the local bugs are just like ours here in the South! Didnt realize they had gondola rides up the side of Mt Etna, what a cool (but scary) way to see it!! The gelato looks awesome, too.
Sam, Windows 10 has been a real challenge for me, its just different enough to make you spend excessive time looking for your stuff! Things are located in differnt sopts and it gets frustrating trying to find them. Good luck!
Pie, I used to think I was organized, but 3 weeks into my new job and I feel like I dont have a grip on anything. My 'Documents' are a disaster! I hope you get things sorted.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday! Enjoy the xooler weather, Lav, we are roasting down here! Byrdie

This one's funny enough to share:
After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a 'gripe sheet,' which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft.
The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.
Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor.
Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.
By the way, UPS is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident....
P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
*
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.
*
P: Something loose in cockpit
S: Something tightened in cockpit
*
P: Dead bugs on windshield.
S: Live bugs on back-order.
*
P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent
S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.
*
P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
S: Evidence removed.
*
P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
S: DME volume set to more believable level.
*
P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
S: That's what friction locks are for.
*
P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.
S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.
*
P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect you're right.
*
P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search
*
P: Aircraft handles funny.(I love this one!)
S: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right and be serious.
*
P: Target radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.
*
P: Mouse in cockpit.
S: Cat installed.
*
And the best one for last
*
P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.
S: Took hammer away from the midget
