big hello to all not here ...have a good day...

There was a knock on my door this evening, it was the police.
They asked, "Sorry to bother you sir, do you live here?"
I said, "No, I just nip round to answer the neighbours door for them."

My Missus just asked me, "When we go to Egypt, can we go on a camel?"
I said, "Don't be daft it would take ages to get there on a camel.!!

On the first day of training for parachute jumping, a blonde listened intently to the instructor.
He told them to start preparing for landing when they are at 300 feet.
The blonde asked, "How am I supposed to know when I'm at 300 feet?"
"That's a good question. When you get to 300 feet, you can recognize the faces of people on the ground."
After pondering his answer, she asked, "What happens if there's no one there I know?"

I was going through some boxes of my grandads,,and i found a cobblers ticket dated 1952 for a pair of boots,,,I was amazed to find the little cobblers was still going,,I handed in the ticket, he went in the back came out and said,,",They'll be ready Thursday,,,"

I went out with my wife to a fancy restaurant last night and she kept insisting on paying for the meal.
I said, "Don't be stupid, we're half way down the road now. Just keep running !!"

I've just changed my wireless broadband provider.
From Bill at number 8 Campbell Road to Jack at number 12.

A policeman searched me in a public toilet last night and found a small bag of class A drugs. "It's not my fault," I said, "Every time I try flushing them down the toilet they magically appear back in my pocket again." "Do you really expect me to believe that?" He laughed. I said, "I'll prove it to you if you won't me to!" "Go on then." He smiled, handing me the bag. After flushing them, he looked at me and said, "Well, show me your pocket then." "What for?" I asked. He said, "The drugs." I said, "What drugs?"

    morning all
thanks for the AM brew, Mick, yep still doing soils work. Hoping one day I'm actually doing something, strange job, hire me, hardly any training, then I sit for hours with nothing to do. I look forward to 'vying on the weekends!

Lav, definitely cooler this morning. Got the wood stove furnace all cleaned out for my parents old house, got her fired up and the old place is nice and warm. What size green house did you build?

not much going on, just living the dream. hope all is well with everyone

Mae everybody, cute jokes Mick -thank you stupid internet bill went from $63 to $80!! Why does that seem like such a huge number? They said that the $64 was a"special" assholes, plus they're the only provider in our area, not Vegas but our area so they can charge what they want I guess, I'm certainly not living without it! Lav,your son didn't bring up anything about it???! At least you got to see the boys for a bit,Sam,at least you get paid to sit around? Or is it per job? Brady and I think we're getting sick AGAIN, I just feel nauseous and headachey but not sure if it's other things causing it,I felt pukey after my last tooth pull, I think my friend at work quit drinking but is subbing pain pills instead, she's always running to the docs for"pain" and uses her hubs' pain meds, then was grilling me on what they gave me, I told her I'm just using Advil and she said she should get her wisdom teeth taken out for the pills, sad really, I've never been into pills or any other drug just the ugly beer Det,I'm so glad the job is working out, seen on the news some ruckus up there yesterday cuz of protesters against Colombus day,we didn't need to be found haha, much love to all and I hope we all have a wonderful AF Tuesday
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Hi everyone. Cute jokes Mick, This is not a joke but something I heard yesterday at the checkout. Lady was explaining that she had lost her wallet. Cashier: Where did you leave it?

Mick, history of battles fascinate me and I think the detecting links to that history.

Pauly, hope you're not getting sick.

        Have a great day everyone.

A note to Lav, I had a foot surgery some years ago, which left my foot mostly metal with steel rods holding it all together. I couldn't bear weight for 9 months, so I got a knee walker and it will help mobility a lot. I also was given by hospital an electronic gizmo where you use it on your foot. You can feel the zaps, (painless), but it helps the bones knit together. I rented the knee walker, but for the length of time it would have been cheaper to buy one. It is seriously safer and better than crutches.

            MAE ALL....

Sorry for MIA but Monday turned out to be a real shitty day for me, cue the Ex, and today wasn't any better.
Got a call from a woman in Saskatchewan saying your Ex has no intention of giving me any money.
She also wanted to let me know that she's filing a law suit against him for reasons I won't go into here.
Then continued to get calls from the Ex.

Sunday saw the onset of pain in my chest when I breathe in and although some muscle relaxants seemed to ease it I didn't get much sleep.
A co-worker had come to work last week with bronchitis and her son had pneumonia so I was concerned about a bacterial infection with my compromised immune system. So popped over to the Dr's to get it checked out. She started me on an antibiotic for infection, oral steroid for inflammation and sent me for a chest xray.

Sorry this was all about me. Hopefully will get a decent sleep tonight and catch up with you all in the morning....:smile:PPQP

Late but wanted to say hello!

Mick, I sure would love to have a Chieftan AFV to make my commute to my daughter's a little easier. People sure would get the hell out of my way, ha ha!!!
It was nice but odd running into my grandsons yesterday. The older one actually said 'I thought we would run into you shopping here'. How did he know that??

Pauly, our cable company is screwing all of us here, they have the whole area monopolized so we can't even switch to another provider. We get TV, internet & a phone line (which we never use) for the low low price of $180/month

Sam, I am actually enjoying the cooler weather, ha ha. I always sleep better when it's cool outside.
The greenhouse is 19 feet - fairly large with doors at both ends. Looks like a spaceship with the dome shape. I have moved some of my summer planters in there to keep them going for a while. YB has planted some odds & ends seeds that were laying around. Lots & lots of room yet to fill up.

SK, my daughter just graduated from her physical therapy assistant program last month so she has knowledge of all the current treatments. She showed me the knee scooters on line today & I imagine she may be getting one. Crutch walking is exhausting even for a spry 39 year old
She will be having pins inserted tomorrow morning & a cast applied (most likely). I brought my five year old granddaughter home with me this afternoon, she's a bit stressed out over all this. I can't even imagine being NWB for 9 months - bless you!

PQ, you poor little thing! I am so sorry you have been exposed to all that funk. Please take extra good care of yourself
If you need someone to go kick your ex's a$$ - just let me know. I have a feeling I may be needing to blow off some steam pretty soon!!!!

Hello to our missing crew members, hope everyone is OK.
                Peace to all tonight!

                Lav
