    MAE All,

Plenty of bloo in this here yonder, Mick. Yep, getting things sorted after a death is a lengthy process with many steps to be followed. So thankful that, like you, I'd already stopped drinking when I had to maneuver through all that. Still, wishing you all the patience required, and a bit of good luck! K9 business is booming, and will stay busy through year-end, both with pups who stay with me, and the ones I go out to visit. This is a very good thing.

Dad phoned yesterday, and did not bring up the marriage business, so I'm hoping the lid stays on for a time. On the face of it, I don't object to it, but I am concerned about consequences that could follow. Here's one: Caregiver's children are also undocumented. Will Dad be asked to adopt them? I just see this snowballing. SNAFU comes to mind.

      morning all
a quick dash in, been working pretty non stop but got a chance to take some calves to market yesterday. Soils job today,Mick, enjoyed the duck joke yesterday, my kind of humor, which I've not had for a bit.

Pi, glad the K-9's are doing well for you, oh yeah, holiday season coming up, still enjoying fall colors here.

Mae everybody, Mick,it's nice to hear that Julie,Amy and her dad are coping ok thanks for starting us off this morning, a lot of stuff I've been dealing with in the past 2 weeks, just feeling sad and hopeless, dealt with it in an unhealthy way,I guess I just let stuff build up that wasn't even in my control so why should I even care? Why should I destroy myself over crap not in my control? I did but I'm back, strong in my resolve... period. Hello Sam and Pie and anyone who pops in later, I hope we all have a great AF Tuesday
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

          Blurry morning greetings ABerooos!

Mick, thanks for booting us into gear in spite of rough times.

Pauly, great to see you back and kicking.

goodnes grief... photographing toddlers is a crazy new world indeed! I just couldn't hardly keep up with
their antics and periodic spasms of throwing fits one moment and then blazing off the next. Thankfully having taken near 500 shots i got some winners Huge kudos to Lav and others that manage with them often.

Sam good to see you also.

started on some weight lifting last night so it's good to feel the soreness coming on.

off to pack up my things for the day.....

          be well loves

MAE ALL....posted from work earlier today and when I clicked on Post Quick Reply it asked if I wanted to leave the page....so no post.

Mick...thanks for starting us off. Bummer about the dentist but like you say fortnight and job's done. Work went really well yesterday. At least I have a boss who is mentally present. We get along really well and at least I can now just put the problem callers through to him.

Pi...I hope everyone just takes a breather and lets things play out a bit. You really don't need a SNAFU!

Sam...at least you can sell your calves. There's about 30 ranches in southern Alberta quarantined from cow that tested positive for TB. Don't work too hard.

Pauly...good to have you back and I like the strong in my resolve. It's hard to let go of things you can't control. For me it's worrying. I start worrying about everything and have to really have a talk with myself to stop it. I'm getting better at it.

Det...500 shots! You'll be needing the weight lifting to keep you going.

TT...glad to hear you weren't affected by the earthquake and I hope your work situation isn't stressing you out too much.

Another stress free day at work. :yay: Off to get dinner going. Hope we all have a peaceful night.....:smile:PPQP

                Good evening Abbers,

I had a busier day than I expected, sure makes time fly

Mick, I think I need to have a chat with your dentist - WTH? Sorry this it's dragging on so long for you.
Glad to hear your family is doing OK despite all the red tape & such.

Pie, I do not envy your situation with your Dad. I hope everything works out for the best!
Have fun & enjoy your K9 time

Sam. staying busy is helping me keep my mind off of politics as much as possible. I just get irritated & even teary when I hear or read certain things.
                Keep yourself safe!

Pauly, read what I just wrote to you on the other thread. I want to see you change your thinking & raise this safety shield girl!! Glad you are back!

Det - when you work with kids it's all about the BRIBES, ha ha!!
Don't ever hesitate to bribe the little darlings ~ works like a charm

PQ, I like the sound of stress free work, awesome!
                Enjoy it while it lasts.

Hello to the others & wishing everyone a peaceful night!

                Lav

oy, back from work and finally got this darn piece of carbide out of my fingertip. A punch chipped badly at work and launched a gnarly piece of metal deep inside my fingertip which was about as much fun as it sounds. Better now.

Mick, you do realize you are reinforcing the stereotype about UK dental issues?

Lav, bribes! great idea. Next time I'll have a pocket fully of shiny toys or mints or something.

PPQ, you sound awesome... way to go.

Pauly, punching bag indeed... the little girl was pulling daddy's hair and when that stopped working she started banging his head with a rock. I even got a picture which is priceless! I don't really want to post other people's kids online though. Hows the crazy city treating you?

I took some shots of the supermoon but haven't had a chance to check them out yet. soon.

                  gnight loves
