hiya snoops,well done you!I guess that it is kind of an adventure,or more of a challenge really ,I know the challenge for me would be to get a satisfactory solution to the immediate problem..I reckon thats where I would get stressed..not necessarily with finding a solution but the bureaucracy and red tape that goes with it!

hiya Pauly hows you then?all ok I hope..yes it is pretty soul destroying if you sit and think about what has happened..we had to cancel the holiday..and hopefully get the money back less £150 cancellation fee..we have manged to find a holiday in the same place, not the same hotel,but one we have been to before,..Tonys funeral is on Friday afternoon at 1 pm,it was the only slot available till after chrimbo..we only got that because the undertaker etc knew him well !We fly out on xmas eve at 3pm for a week ...come back new years eve...Flying out with Norwegian Airlines! it cost a few bob more but Julie def needs the break,I know how I feel,and she definitely is worse than me..we made sure her dad is ok over chrimbo..he is going to the rest of the family dil and her sons grandsons etc they all dote on him so he will def be looked after.

Mae everybody, Mick at least it's all sorted out very happy to hear that Julie's dad will be surrounded by other family members during Christmas, been wondering about Sam,is everything ok with him? I tried to send him a friend request from my new Facebook and nada,probably just busy,OMG,yesterday I was reading the newspaper and was looking at these adoption dogs,this one little half pug,half beagle named Nicky jumped out at me,love at first sight! Only problem is that he's already been adopted out I should have went on the website at work instead of waiting until I got home,grrrr,he was so cute and weird looking too he was awesome, LB is here and we had a nice visit, she's one of those people with a peaceful soul who lighten you up when you're around them,sure she's moody sometimes(got that from me) but I miss her being here, says she's getting sick of Portland but I doubt she'll move back here,anyway TT,hope everything is as ok as it can be right now for you,just thinking of you,much love to my peeps and wishing everyone a great AF Friday

Pauly, we'd love to have a dog again and have been talking about it. I just want to make sure I can provide it with adequate attention and not neglect it.

It's been really ghastly but the concrete support I have had from friends and colleagues near and afar is amazing. Not quite over yet as it's getting complicated.
mick - awful period for you and the funeral will be so tough. Good that you are getting away but I imagine it will be a mellow time.

Nearly bedtime - yikes!
I need an extra half day every day to get caught up with everything, ha ha.
We went to our granddaughter's school show today & it was awesome listening to 5 & 6 year olds singing their little hearts out
