actually got to do a bit of a sleep in, felt great.... rainy day and all that. Just got kinda busy at both jobs so not much else going on. Might have gotten another nice steep mountain job... hope my legs can hold up!

hiya peeps ,hope all is well with you,been a bit busy today,doing bitz and batz...filling the wall ,then the guy came over to plaster it..a much better job than I could even think about...no dognuts or bagels on the cards pour moi today..still in my lose some weight mode after all the pigging out and comfort eating weve done..so got to lose it...just to put it back on ,on the next joliday ..out tecting tomorrow so a big hi to yizall..

of course and a brew......

A farmer ordered a high-tech milking machine. Since the equipment arrived when his wife was out of town, he decided to test it on himself first.
So, he inserted his "manhood" into the equipment, turned on the switch and everything else was automatic.
Soon, he realized that the equipment provided him with much more pleasure than his wife did. When the fun was over, though, he quickly realized that he couldn't remove the instrument from his 'member'.
He read the manual but didn't find any useful information on how to disengage himself. He tried every button on the instrument, but still without success. Finally, he decided to call the supplier's
Customer Service Hot Line with his cell phone (Thank god for cell phones!).
"Hello, I just bought a milking machine from your company. It works fantastic, but how do I remove it from the cow's udder?"
"Don't worry," replied the customer service rep, "The machine will release automatically once it's collected two gallons

Paddy & Mick worked together and were both laid off, so they went to the unemployment office.
When asked his occupation, Paddy answered, "Panty Stitcher. I sew da elastic onto ladies cotton panties and tongs".
The clerk looked up panty stitcher on his computer and finding it classified as unskilled labour, he gave him $80.00 a week unemployment pay.
Mick was next in, and when asked his occupation, replied, "Diesel Fitter". Since a diesel fitter was a skilled job, the clerk gave Mick $160.00 a week.
When Paddy found out, he was furious. He stormed back into the Unemployment Office to find out why his friend and co-worker was collecting double his unemployment pay.
The clerk explained "Panty Stitchers are unskilled labourers, and Diesel Fitters are skilled labourers".
“What skill?” yelled Paddy." I sew da elastic on da panties and tongs; Mick puts 'em over his head and says: "Yep, diesel fitter”.

Morning All! Lav, we truly have had only 3 days of winter. Temps in the 20s that decimated my garden. Otherwise, highs in the 70s with need for air conditioning.

Been taking care of a puppy this week. Owner was gone less than 24 hours before freaking out over his decision to leave young pup alone for a week, other than my visits 3x day. Well, duh! Way too stressful for me, dealing with this demanding and unreasonable person. Fortunately owner is due back home today. Never again, I say.

Looking forward to real estate activity picking up soon, as it sure slows down through the holidays.

Real estate sales start to pick up around here in February. People need to let their kids finish out the school year before they pack up & move - at least that's what I've noticed. Good luck & tell your doggie customers that you will be busy elsewhere from now on, ha ha!

Haha,that panty stitcher joke had me in stitches ok so now I'm getting confused, should we just start a weekly thread or?? I didn't see a thread for today so figured I'd post my hellos here,let's figure out what we're doing,maybe a vote for weekly or daily,hubs and I just got back from breakfast and he has to work today,makes me a bit sad but I have laundry,grocery shopping and Lou so I should stay occupied, I can't wait for summer I know that sounds weird but this cold is draining,much love to all and I hope we all have a great AF Sunday

oh my, so sore from loading/unloading gear and the show hasn't even begun. ack!
Such a slippery place here for AL as it's simply everywhere and seems everyone is boozing it up.
Anyhoo, finally got my internet figured out after 4 trips to the office and all appears good.
I like a daily thread but I'm easy and happy to go with the flow.
Pie, so sorry to hear your garden got frozen. Heck of a pile of yummy fruit you have there.

I will have to try to remember to hop on in the morning & start a proper Daily thread. I used to do it often before Mick joined us & took over

Never got the snow yesterday, we did get a little ice though. No weather related major malfunctions, grateful.
