Not the best thing to sing outside an impotent support group.

However sad you feel, just remember that somewhere in the world a fat kid has just dropped his ice-cream.

    morning all
how's it be going Mick? All well in wabbit land? In answer to your question the other day the top bar hive does not get more honey, actually less but if you are starting off you can easily build one, so I'm told, and set up is a lot less expensive. No extractor/equipment needed. I bought one so I have something to go by (buy?). I have the regular hives but always wanted to see what one of these guys would do. It is more like a natural setting for them, hollow log idea. Anyway, all new to me.

doing the do with calves today. Suppose to get hot today so hoping for an early morning.

    be well friends

Mae everybody, Mick loved the pool joke haha so you're back on real coffee again? I think if you take it easy your tummy will be OK,don't drink 46 cups like me Sam,were new calves born lately? Lou's dad's surgery is on Thursday morning, Kells back thing is on Thursday morning too! His moms gonna take him and hubs is gonna take Kell and keep an eye on Louie,he had to take the day off work but its important cuz neither of them can drive for the day after the procedures and I don't want them needing something and trying to go anywhere, you know how young peeps are..oh I'm fine,no you're not..did end up with leftover enchiladas for lunch but I just pulled the chicken out,put it in a bowl and slathered on salsa twas bueno Det,that's cool you're gonna take the pics for the local team(I almost said shoot the team- not good in these times to say) it'll be a nice distraction and probably pretty interesting to watch games or whatever they call it,much love to all my friends here and I hope we all have a great AF Tuesday
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

        Happy Tue ABerooos!

hmmm... not much has happened since last night. ha!

Mick, you and I are sporting the same trendy hair do! I'm sure Pauly would laugh herself silly

Sam, my buddy here had a hive which we had fun observing and it was doing quite well 'til they
died off due to some kind of mites. bummer!

Need to have presence of mind today to be honest with myself and my boss about what my body is and isn't
capable of when doing this construction type of work like building the racks. I was so sore last week I was walking
around like Frankenstein's monster. ugh. So as much as I tend to be a people pleaser I need to be true to myself.
Just a mental note mostly... don't mind my talking out loud.

therapy tonight, so see yoos all later on

        be well loves

            Re: teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyoozdi

Hi folks - guess who is here. I have been overseas and am on my way home today. Its always hard to catch up on MWO when one has had a long break (I think its been 3 weeks for me). My trip went well mostly although I had some rough episodes - still very fragile from being laid off. No definite new jobs yet but I might have a paid project - still negotiating it. It will be lovely to see my family soon - after a long flight. I see SK that you have had back surgery and Mick your back is bad too? I will have to read back to get all the news.
No AL for me on the trip and I had plenty of opportunities, with gorgeous sunsets and others drinking (but not getting drunk), but I wasn't tempted one single bit.
            But hi there everyone.

              MAE ALL....

Mick...been under the weather all weekend and took yesterday off and slept all day. Feeling a bit better and did go into work today. It will definitely be an early night for me.

Sam...we got snow today and more to come tonight. Are you calving?

Pauly...sounds like your plate is pretty full at the moment.

Det...totally agree, you have to be true to yourself. Hope the meeting is a good one.

TT...good to see your post. A paid project is better than nothing.

Going to heat up some chicken soup and crawl into bed. Hope we all have a peaceful evening....:smile:PPQP

                  Re: teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyoozdi

                  Good evening Abbers,

Here I've been waiting for spring to arrive & today we had summer. 80 some degrees, crazy!!!

Mick, thanks for the real coffee. After a few days the real stuff is appreciated
YB says the eye is much better already - who knows? Yep, the pergola is going to have to wait just a bit but at least we were able to get it here & at a decent price. Maybe my fairy godmother or someone will put it together one of these days. Just found out we may be watching the "Insanity Twins'. The dog sitter backed out at the last minute & my son & his family are leaving for a trip. Oh boy, I haven't had to watch those two dogs in quite a while - should be tons of fun.

Sam, it was a hot one today, for sure. The AC turned itself on, nice
Hope your busy day went well. I just read that the fiddle/guitar player from 'Alabama' is stepping down due to Parkinson's disease, that's a shame.

Pauly, sounds like you are going to have a busy week taking care of the rest of the family. Good luck!

TT, welcome back, glad your trip went relatively well

PQ, I was wondering where you were. Sorry to hear you were sick. Feel better soon!

Det, by all means, keep your boundary lines strong & don't be pushed into doing something you don't want to do at work. I have a feeling the boss already knows you are a good worker & will understand if you explain things. Good luck to you too.

SK, hope you are well. Hello to the others & wishing everyone a pleasant night!

whew! back for round 2 ABeroooos!

thankfully, no construction work today as it will be tomorrow but it was a stressful day at work with clashes of personalities and bad arguments
among the crew. I wasn't involved directly in any of it but I have a tendency to resonate off others' energy so it was a challenge. I did manage
to maintain conscious awareness of my feelings and not get sucked into it badly. Thankfully they got over it finally and all is well again.

Signed divorce papers which at the time didn't hit me but I'm carrying sadness and guilt about it. Just processing and 'allowing' feelings to come and go.
It's not easy but I'm learning this whole emotional game finally... bit by bit. Therapy tonight was timed perfectly and i do feel better.

PPQ, zicam seems to work well for me to shorten colds. rest up dear one.

TTops, kudos on an AF grand adventure. Work is indeed tough all around in the states also and has been for years.

Pauly, if Mick and i come in at the same time what kind of deal do we get on a spiffy hairdo? thinking purple spikes for Mick and
                    a Mohawk for me

dang.. it's late and i need to shower etc.

                    gnight ABloves

Lav, your post makes me wonder about the thousands of lost souls at home looking at a pile of wood they bought at IKEA and wondering
                      how to proceed
