Morning all. Whew what a relief to feel a cool breeze coming in the few screened windows I have ready to open!
BIG storm last night. Great cracks of thunder and lightening that seemed like it was going to come right into the room. After a lucky lifetime of owning dogs with no storm sensitivity, last night my failing girl dog was really undone by the storm. They really can sense the change in the electrical field before the lightening strikes, poor dear. And it was hot as Hades in the bedrooms, uuugh. So I finally got the poor panting shaking girl down to the lower level where it was cool and we could'nt see or hear all the hullabaloo as much. I slept down there with her on the couch... not a particularly great night's sleep.
Lav, that watch is used with kids - in fact the poster child is an epileptic kid who uses it for warnings: Embrace Watch by Empatica, check it out! Pauly, how crazy is it that we were hotter here! I've heard from friends in our old desert state that they are topping 100 already, uuugh! Glad to hear that you are having a little cool. Star, sending you and your daughter good wishes, I hope all goes well.
Off to get ready for another long day. PS, I read an article yesterday about new, terrible viruses that ticks are carrying now. Awful... so glad I have my anti-tick routine down, but I think I'm going to do a last push and then sign off for the rest of the season and the fall. Only winter work for me now out in the back areas in the coming years...
Wishing all a great AF Friday ---
