Re: toozdi
Good morning...
Mick, it is awful, I just don't understand the why of hurting others. At a concert. A time and place to gather and enjoy music. Just horrific. I am so sorry. I have concerns when there is any big gathering anymore, you never know when something like this can happen.
Porquoi, I am hoping to get time today to plant, but since I resigned from my job, it seems I have less time than ever. I am busy every day with things around the house after working out. I am really enjoying setting my own schedule and having down time too. I don't think I realized how exhausted I was getting.
Det, I used to walk at work on warm days and come back all sweaty too. It was worth it but, I had a desk job, whereas you are doing hard physical work. I have never had Filipino food, sounds good. Hope you are doing well. I was thinking what a variety of interests you have: photography, cooking, shooting, camping. Have a great day.
Have a good one to all.

Re: toozdi
Dreadful what happened in Manchester. I thought of you Mick when I heard the news. Knew you wouldn't be at the concert but that it would shake you.
I am home now and the job rejections just keep mounting up. Currently dealing with our runaway cat. We know where he is but we can't actually trap him to bring him home. He has deserted us and is living some blocks away. People leave their cat food outside so he seems quite happy. Will ring SPCA today fir advice.

MAE ALL...
Mick...thought of you too when I heard the news. You couldn't pay me to go any place there's a large gathering of people anymore. And I'm in Canada.
Snoop...I still didn't get my own garden planted and they're predicting a huge rain storm tomorrow so it looks like Thursday before I can attempt it.
Pauly...yup, you got to give the news a couple of days to catch up with what actually happened.
Pi...good to see you.
TT...sorry about the rejections, got my fingers crossed for you. We had a cat, many moons ago, who was mad at us for going on holidays. We knew he was around the neighbourhood and that people were feeding him but we never were able to get him to come home. Hope you have better luck.
Wishing everyone a peaceful evening....:smile:PPQP

Re: toozdi
Good evening Abbers,
All day long the news about last night's bombing & the potential for this happening at any 'soft targets' has made me very weary. I just wish there was something more concrete we could do to prevent these things. Being vigilant & 'saying something if you see something' just isn't enough
Mick, I am very sorry for the young victims & their families. I will pray for them all. Hope yo are OK
Hello SnoopStar, Mr V, Pauly & Nora.
Welcome home TT, sorry about the job situation & your cat. I don't understand cat behavior, they don't act like dogs (I understand them for most part).
Pie, good to see you!
PQ, you may be getting the rain we've had, hmm.
Hello to Det, SF, Sam & anyone else checking in.
Wishing everyone a peaceful night. I am leaving tomorrow & will check in when I can (hotel wifi is not always fabulous).

NF since 05/19/09
Success comes one day at a time
