    Good evening Abbers,

Aww, PQ that was a lovely poem by our resident poet Mick
I hope all the good memories you have of Chrissy give you some comfort.

Pauly, the same goes to you. Keep the happy memories forefront & let them help you to heal

Hello to the entire crew Mick, TT, SnoopStar & everyone.
Awaiting some severe weather but I think it went somewhere else & that's OK with me.

Have a peaceful night one & all.

Lav your post....Awaiting some severe weather but I think it went somewhere else & that's OK with me. oh really ...lets think where that could be then!!despite the rubbishy weather you sent ..heres a brew..hope all is swell with you today.

hiya ppqp...how are you today?not meant to be a stupid question,I know grief comes in peaks and troughs, just wondered how you were today?its hard to say anything really, especially all the crap that is going on about what ifs and how come sort of scenarios..keep it together we are thinking of you

hiya pauly, how are you feeling today?hopefully on a peak today...thinking of you too.

hi snoopster you doing ok?yes the news is pretty negative at the mo,looking for good news is haystack and needle stuff.

hello everyone else...hope you are all doing ok...

An old prospector walks his tired old mule into a western town one day. He had been out in the desert for about six months without a drop of whiskey. He walked up to the first saloon he came to and tied his old mule to the hitch rail. As he stood there brushing some of the dust from his face and clothes, a gunslinger walked out of the saloon with a gun in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other.
The gunslinger looked at the old man and laughed, saying, "Hey old man, have you ever danced?"
The old man looked up at the gunslinger and said, "No, I never did dance. I just never wanted to."
A crowd had gathered by then and the gunslinger said, "Well you old fool, you are gonna dance now," and started shooting at the old man's feet. The old prospector was hopping around and everybody was laughing. When the gunslinger fired his last bullet he holstered his gun and turned around to go back into the saloon.
The old man reached up on the mule, drew his shotgun, and pulled both hammers back making a double clicking sound. The gunslinger heard the sound and everything got quiet. The crowd watched as the gunslinger slowly turned around looking down both barrels of the shotgun. The old man asked, "Did you ever kiss a mule square on the ass?"
The gunslinger swallowed hard and said, "N-n-n-n-o. B-b-but I've always wanted to."

What did the baby corn say to his mama corn?
      Where's Pop Corn.

What happened when 2 men stole a calendar.
      They both got 6 months

They've just found a Mummy in Egypt that's covered in chocolate and peanuts.
Apparently he was called Pharoah Rocher.

What's yellow and goes UP and DOWN, UP and DOWN?

Re: The Weekly Fred...w/c Sunday 4th June

        Good morning...

Very busy today, family is coming to spend the night, with a newborn we may not get much sleep, this house is not very big! I am cooking for everyone and have to get organized. I love it!

Pauly and Porquoi, take care and know we are thinking of you all.

Mick, busy as usual, funny jokes. Any trips planned? We could plan one but I do not feel like leaving for some reason. My March trip was fun but I love my summer days at home.

Lav, hope your weather improves, you have not had much of a summer yet.

        Det, hope you are OK.

        Have a good one all.

Happy Wednesday friends,Mick, pop corn was cute PQ((hugs)) I understand coasting along ok then wham outta the blue it hits, just got to keep ourselves busy I guess, was looking for a throwback pic of me and hubs to put on Facebook for our anniversary but ran into too many pics of Jon growing up so I said screw it and figured the card I gave him was enough haha,my pics aren't very well organized just put into wooden boxes so the yearly range is all over the place, not gonna organize those anytime soon though,Winslow got groomed and he acts cocky like he always does after he gets himself all cleaned up the groomer gave him some gourmet doggie treats beautifully packaged but he won't touch them with a ten foot paw haha,so I'm gonna give them to my coworker cuz she said her dog is fat and eats anything, much love to all and wishing us a nice AF day
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Re: The Weekly Fred...w/c Sunday 4th June

Morning humans. It's Thursday now but still dark as it's winter here. Yes another fire going.
There will be troughs as you say PQ and Pauly. You both know not to isolate yourselves so that may help a tiny but in the end what you have both had happen is horrific and unexpected.
Snoop I know what you mean by a small house. Same here although no crying babies.
Mick - was the car badly damaged?
Well I don't have much to say except hi there to all - also Lav, Sam, Det, Pie.

TT...yup isolation is a big :shakingno: for me.

Snoop...good think you like cooking! Enjoy your evening.

Lav...did Mick send the severe weather back your way?

Pauly...I would have said screw it too. I think Winslow is hilarious.

Rheumatoid appointment was my first positive news for awhile. No Lupus. :yay:

                    Good evening Abbers,

Mick, as it turned out - a small thunder storm arrived just as I was going to sleep last night. I told it to get a move on & get over to your house, Ha ha!!!
It didn't rain today but it was chilly & the sun was completely missing. I spent the afternoon working anyway so it was OK. I hope Julie's car comes back looking brand new

Enjoy the family & the cooking SnoopStar! You will be exhausted afterwards, I promise!!!

Pauly, stay positive please, everything is gonna be OK, just takes time
My dogs are not fussy, they eat anything, ha ha!

                    Hi there Sam & TT!

PQ, great news from you, yay.
I hope you are feeling better in every way possible. I hope the gardens grow well. We are going to have tons of garlic, onions, red potatoes, beans, you name it!!! YB also started a new bed of asparagus this year, the old stuff gave up.

I am going to see my daughter & granddaughter tomorrow & take them out for lunch - girl time!
                    Wishing everyone a peaceful night!

Paddy and Mick are going home from a night out and realise that they don't have enough money for a taxi so they decide to go to the Bus depot and steal a bus. Mick breaks into the depot as Paddy stood guard. After a while Paddy decided to see what was keeping Mick so he looked through the gate where he saw Mick running from bus to bus looking worried
"What the hell are you doing?" Hissed Paddy.
Mick replied, "I can't find a number 6 bus anywhere Paddy."
Holding his hands to his head in disbelief Paddy barked
"You idiot Mick, steal a number 8 and we'll get off at the roundabout and walk the rest of the feckin way."

                              MAE ALL...

Lav...we've got severe thunderstorm warnings here tonight so Mick must have sent his this way. That's what I forgot onions & garlic, I think there's still time. Hope you had a great girl time lunch.

Mick...since Adam was a lad!! I love the way you put things. LOL Hope the 500 is the end of it not the start. Yes it was great news and finally something positive.

TT...fingers crossed the pitter patter doesn't come back.

Snoop...hope it was a great road trip.

Pauly...I went with both this year. The seeds germinated in 5 days and are flourishing. A fellow gardener had to replant my seedling tomatoes, she felt sorry for me, and they're looking much better. It's always easier having people around telling you what works for them.

It was a good, exhausting day. All kinds of construction work in and outside the building so shuffling events to other rooms was a challenge but manageable. Had the most fun watching the building super almost loose his mind, he's not good with change especially if it's unexpected. Looking forward to a quiet night. Hope everyone else's is quiet too....:smile:PPQP
