Been a long day at work but a friend stopped in with freshly made cabbage rolls, so I know what I'm having for dinner.

Det, interesting about your house call. Some docs around here have started doing that for their older patients who really have a hard time getting into the office. Our Vet is coming here to see our older ailing dog tomorrow afternoon which I really appreciate. Stay cool in that heat!!!
I hope you get some pelican pics. I saw them on my first trip to the west coast & couldn't believe how big they are - goodness!!

Sam, I probably will stayed glued to the house & AC this weekend. Just don't do well in the heat anymore.

Pauly, do you have a Costco or BJ's membership? You can really save a lot of $$ getting your tires done there. My son does a lot of driving & goes thru a lot of tires so he's been getting his at Costco.

Lav, there was a pelican that used to perch over our boat when we had it moored in Cairns Australia. At first we thought it was
really neat, but then after it took what has to be a world-record setting bowel movement of rotten fish all over the boat we realized that
it was actually a prehistoric crapping machine! crapposaurus! then the sun would bake it onto the boat.... ugh... apologies.

Really looking forward to the days off to catch up around the place and snap some pics. Have money worries but I'll get through it somehow.
AF is how come to think of it. The only way.

Amazed to say today is our 44th anniversary. Wasn't so sure that we would get this far but apparently we have. It's been a long, long time with lots of ups & downs, ha ha.

We have plenty of Canadian geese that hang around here & my husband calls them sh*t machines, ha ha!!!

Hot & humid here again as predicted. We had severe storm warnings up until 9 pm but nothing developed. I think tomorrow we will be getting storms so I will hide inside in the blessed AC
