SF...how true the ass kissers. The new program coordinator's nose grows browner every day.

Mick...WOW...What a transformation. Your SIL owes you big time!! Pat yourself on the back for me.

Off to train the cukes to grow vertically. Check back later....:smile:PPQP

        Re: w/c 9th jul

Hi guys - I am not as gullible as you think - but care about people. I genuinely thought that Julie has been badly stung and rushed to hospital - that happened to my Mum once as she was allergic to the sting. And one would use a shovel to kill the wasp as they can sting multiple times. So be careful what you post!
I didn't see the jokey faces at the bottom of the post. I was a bit suspicious however because I didn't think Mick would say 'pray' for my wife.

Pauly - really sorry you drank again.

Mr GB will now have to reapply for his job and he has about a 50% chance of being made redundant. The process will drag out all year too. I can't stand this. Neither can he. Please don't say redundancy will open up a silver lining - it could just mean that with us both unemployed and living off my very low superannuation (and supporting our daughter) that its going to be tough as. He is aged 53 and I am 61. Not an easy time to find work - especially as there is very little in the wider area that we live in and relocation would be unaffordable.

hiya peeps ...tis I again...meant to say your garden looks ace ppqp..
pauly come on now...you know it was a shit decision to drink ..you knew that no good would come off it you knew that you would feel crap about it you knew that it wouldnt help you knew that there was a shdful of people here to support you......thats one serious stack against you..

we are sitting at the top of hill...heres a car for you...trouble is theres no brakes so you go drive it down the hill ...chances are if you dont wind up dead ,you might be seriously hurt...so you go ..heres the keys...or you can just say no thanks and walk down the hill..you might take longer ,you might be tired...but I bet you say..what clown would take the car as an option?

hiya tt..hows you..ok I take your point about the shovel....the correlation between swollen face and shovel didnt work because of previous..the work scene isnt so rosy at the mo is it?just hope that something turns up for you.....

            Re: w/c 9th jul

            Good evening Abbers,

It was a good day & I am exhausted.
I got to take my grandson to an archaeology dig with a program designed for kids. We got to sift thru dirt & look for artifacts.
YB finally relented & hired a couple of Amish guys to finish the pergola on the deck. Thank God, haha!!!!! It looks great & we will finally get some shade on the deck.

Pauly, I hope you pull yourself together quickly & don't allow a sense of self-pity to take over. It doesn't help you or your family or the situation, right?

PQ, we've had SO many cucumbers from ne plant that I am now sharing them with the chickens. How many cucumbers can two people eat?? I hope your garden grows well

TT, I am sorry about your job situations, anyone would be worried. I hope something comes along very soon for you.

Mick, that is a beautiful garden & obviously a lot of work - good for you!

SF, try to not worry too much about your kids. You have good lines of communication with them & that means a lot. Some kids just take longer to blossom than others, really. Trust them to find their way.
My younger grandson has a major case of 'pain in the ass'
He's got a lot of anger & hostility in him & it's been obvious for years, he's only 6 now. He may be taking after his mother, I just don't know but he has had his own therapist for a couple of years. Time will tell I suppose.

Hello to the rest of the crew & wishing a good night for all.

              Hi gang.

TT, dunno if teaching english TESOL style to folks who are learning it is an option for you or hubs? A bachelors degree in anything, plus a short study qual in english TESOL/TEFL should qualify you. Online options from China too. I'm sure you've thought of this before. All the best.

That yard transformation is ace Mick. Let the brown nosers do what they will do. Bloody embarrassing and defies belief to witness sometimes. Rampant.

              Have a beaut week y'all.

Guitarista, you're giving me an idea.... perhaps i could be an international travelling bum if I taught ESL and also got paid somehow
                  for travel photography. Hmmmmm...

Lav, got those hens laying yet?

well, we have so many fires around here that the air is hot, heavy and smokey. A bit hard to breath and eyes are burning
but it's not unbearable. So glad I got the AC figured out.
