    Aloooha Friday ABerooonies!

PPQ, thanks for pasting me in the right spot. MIL any better? what a day.

Sam, glad yer on the mend brother.

Lav, sounds like a success... super. now a cool dry breeze is all you need. Me too actually...
still smokey/hot round here but asthma hasn't kicked up so I'm grateful indeed.

Mick, take care and don't worry, we'll keep trucking along here I'm sure.

Got my last K treatment tomorrow afternoon so I'm prepping myself mentally/emotionally for another
    wild adventure in brain-land

Pauly, hope to see you soon

Guitarista, keep up the great AF work mate! must be feeling good.

will do martial arts tomorrow morn, then nothing much on my books as I want to keep things
nice and mellow this weekend and set a calm environment for my treatment.

    catch you all after work.
    be well loves

        MAE ALL...

Mick...I think a wee break is a good decision. You definitely have had a lot to deal with. We know you won't be far but we will miss you.

Sam...glad you're able to breathe again...and I thought I had problems. LOL I think exercising the vocals probably did help. Is your frog imitation on you tube?

Lav...glad to hear the surgery went well and I bet you're glad he only has 2 hands. Weather is cool in the mornings, heats during the day then cools again at night. Just perfect. Helps not having the humidity to deal with.

Det...you're welcome. We all loose our way sometimes. LOL Good luck with the treatment tomorrow.

Gman...you're on another roll :goodjob: keep it up.

Pauly...guess I'm going to have to venture out of my comfort zone and go looking for you on your thread and others.

Figured MIL would have visitors today and I could take a break...but no. She finally got a message to me (couldn't figure out the phone) to call her. She said they're not giving her the blood pressure medication. She also couldn't remember that I brought her clothes, toiletries and books yesterday. The ER Doctor had asked if there was any confusion and I said no but now I'm thinking yes. Just back from the hospital so I'm going to restart my Friday night which means I'll probably head to bed soon. LOL Have a peaceful evening all.....:smile:PQP

Lav--DC is a very lovely city--I didn't know you had a son there. Glad the hand surgery went well. Hope the recovery is smooth. It has been awful heat and humidity wise--one of the big reasons I was upset he booked a trip the 3rd week of July. My oldest can't be in the heat because his eczema will flare--but he has managed fairly well.

Det-we have of people from the store go abroad to teach English. One just returned from Prague and another is in Spain. Not a bad gig. Most go off and don't come back. They like traveling to different countries and teaching. Just don't know if I could do it sober--in some countries drinking all day is a way of life.

PQ--hope things settle down with your MIL. I know tending to someone can be exhausting.

Trip is going better than expected. Few tough spots--but that was mostly all of us being cranky from the heat.

We get the heat--but not this kind of humidty. Regardless, running around on vacation through it has it challenges. Lots of cab rides.

SF...glad the trip is going ok. I for one would not be comfortable traveling to different countries. Need my comfort zones.

                Pauly....:bigwave:

Mick...hope you're enjoying your break and are getting some things sorted.

Morning to everyone else stopping in. Have a Super Sober Saturday all.....:smile:PPQP

                      Good evening Abbers,

Still broiling in this awful heat & humidity, ugh, nasty stuff.
I watched my grandsons from 3 until 8 pm & even they didn't want to be outside much.

PQ, your MIL does sound like she has some confusion going on. Does she have any infections going on? Even something as minor as a UTI can cause confusion in the elderly. Also dehydration is a biggie with that age group too. I hope she rallies soon.

Det, I hope your treatment went well.

Sam, absolutely NO roosters allowed here, ha ha! I can't stand the SOB's, they are mean!!!
Any I accidently end up with go right down to our Amish friend's farm, thank goodness.

SF, glad you are having a good trip. I know it's just as hot up in NYC as it is here.
My son lives up here where I live & commutes to DC for work. His 24 hrs on duty & 3 days off schedule allows for that. He just reminded me tonight that he's been on that job for 13 1/2 years now - where does the time go??

Mick, hope you are OK friend.
                      Pauly, how about you?

TT, I'll see you on the new thread in the morning

                      Have a peaceful night everyone!
