I am so busy I might pop - off overeseas on Saturday for 5 weeks with various projects. Sort of being paid but not a lot - this is basic level travelling but I am looking forward to it. I like new cultures and talking to people. One thing, being AF makes this do much easier.
Hope you get your rat Mick. They are crafty buggers.

1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2. People who are willing to get off their ass to search the entire room for the T.V. remote because they refuse to walk to the T.V. and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it?

5. When people say while watching a film "did you see that?". No Loser, I paid £8 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor you daft git.

7. When something is 'new and improved!' Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?". If the bus came would I be standing here you tosser.

Yep Mick, my chickens are regular excavators, ha ha!!! I don't mind them digging in their own run, I just don't like it when they dig up plants That I just planted!!!
I have had some digging dogs too over the years. I had a golden retriever dig under the fence so he could squeeze thru & go visit the neighbor whenever he wanted. He just wanted to say HI, ha ha!!

If it's a matter of too much thinking about things then just stop. I know because it can (and has) happened to me too.
That's why I am such a fan of Tolle & his magical advice to stay present. Ruminating about the past or worrying about future events that haven't even happened yet are useless & dangerous to folks like us. Keep yourself in the present, tune into some nice relaxing music or guided meditations - best medicine ever!!!!

Mick, my allergies are doing quite well, thanks for asking, ha ha. I think this humid air just keeps certain pollens stuck right over our heads, ugh. I am happily awaiting the first frost which is a long way off, I know.
Took a trip to the zoo today with my girls but the heat & humidity drove us out pretty quickly, oh well.

mornin all...howz we today its freitag poets day...Ive got to be in OLdham for 9 this morning so need to leave about 7.45 parking blah blah etc got an eyetest today...Rat trap sprung....I set it last night bait gone no contents its three quarter mesh wire ..my guess is a stoat weasel field mouse was in there ...not bothered about that ..its Mr Rat I want..finished painting the doors and skirting and shelves in the kitchen....Julie forget ...one drawer had to be repainted..
